It was especially cutting when the show teased this was going to happen again to Clara, but then the twist is the Doctor himself is the one who gets his mind wiped, which very much came off as the show acknowledging what a crap deal Donna got. And if he can eventually get those memories back, why not her?

This is worse to me. Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, at least it’s an ethos.

The eye patches are now calling to mind O Brother Where Art Thou and its numerous characters with eye problems. In particular, John Goodman’s Cyclops had a white patch like Graves, though he doesn’t seem to be any kind of physical threat so far.

“(whose first name is pronounced “Ulah,” we find out tonight)“

It always felt really weird that they set up such a pointlessly complex excuse for Jimmy to be there. This at least gives some kind of closure to it.

I’m just hoping for the Folksmen getting booed off the stage.

Diana and Dodi’s ghosts were horribly dumb, but all will be forgiven if it’s setting up for a final scene of Foy, Colman, and Staunton teaming up to tell Charles how much he sucks.

Stan Lee was fully supportive of Zendaya playing Mary Jane.

Translation: So may people yelled at us about this that we’re not doing it anymore.

You can very much tell it’s the Neon Genesis Evangelion guy through all that.

I really wish we could get some sign of where Larry ended up. As is, we just have to assume he went to jail for lying to Congress.

As per the bonus news reports, Jimmy’s going to be in prison until 2010 for his part in the bombing, even after cooperating against the others.

Coen Brothers connections I caught:

There goes any hope of gay characters being in it.

Also, Damon is 53 years old, and this isn’t exactly a role like Tony Stark where the actor’s only there to be charismatic while a CGI model does all the fighting. We want to see the guy playing Jason Bourne actually kicking ass, and it’s just doubtful he has that in him anymore.

So just completely ignoring the racism she’s had to put up with over this movie, huh?

The most interesting part to me is that apparently they were after Jake Gyllenhal for a while, which would have just had zero acknowledgement of his having played Mysterio.

It’s been incredible seeing Timothy Omundson take up his acting career again by finding roles that accommodate his disabilities, and his playing Hephaestus is an especially clever one. I’ve been begging so hard for this to not suck, perhaps even harder than with the live action Avatar show, and this is very promising.

Now playing

I’m still hoping we get a statement from Miriam Margolyes, after she was responsible for the worst moment of his life.

Oh, this is going to provide so much tiresome discourse over how they seem to be actively avoiding any addressing of her willingness to perform for the Nazis.
