“Anyway, as always, our girl confronts the culprit without any backup.”

Myra Breckinridge may play up those surgeons being idiots, but being able to turn Rex Reed into Raquel Welch is a goddamn miracle.

I’ve never once understood what the appeal of this show is supposed to be. When the trailer for the first season came out, I legit assumed it was a limited series that would end with Joe getting his comeuppance, but before I could watch it I happened to find out it actually ends with him killing the girl he’s been

“(and a maneuver that recalls Jeff Daniels’ Newsroom pilot monologue)“

Last week’s episode showed some promising growth away from some aspects of the show that had started to get irritating. Let’s see if tomorrow shows that was actually the growth it looked like, or just a brief hiccup before it goes right back into old patterns.

It suddenly makes a lot more sense why they decided to edit in shots of Christina Ricci during scenes Thora Birch had already filmed, rather than redo the whole thing.

When all we had was the Adam West show, this truly did feel like the dark Batman.

I can’t believe Fast X got Jason Momoa as the team’s biggest enemy yet: Guy Who Was Also There. I keep telling you guys, just bring back that shotgun-toting truck driver from the first movie who beat Dom and drove on his merry way, probably laughing his head off.

Quite a few people have been trying to tell me I’m morally obligated to see this movie because a whole bunch of innocent people worked on it. To which I reply, how do you live with the guilt of not seeing literally every movie ever made?

I’m mostly in it for Columbo.

Emilia Clarke got it done on Game of Thrones well enough, which is why there was a sudden lack of nude scenes from her after the first couple seasons.

In the game, there’s no backstory of being an informer, and Henry and Sam are simply traveling through the city when they get roped into joining Joel and Ellie, which gets the Hunters on their trail.

Interesting choice to take out Henry saying to Joel “It’s your fault” before killing himself. Though it did always come off like he meant himself anyway.

I’m pretty sure that by now, Hong has the record for the most acting roles ever, with only John Carradine for serious competition.

Picard also showed on a billboard that Kassidy Yates’ shipping business is thriving more than ever, so that was nice.

Kudos to him for never bending to the pressure of the show’ s creepier fans and always saying back to them that Joe is 100% an evil guy who you shouldn’t be rooting for.

Patrick Stewart was adamant he’d only come back if the show had its own reason for existing beyond just being a “nostalgia bomb,” and it reportedly took a lot of convincing for him to even be okay with Riker and Troi’s cameos in Season 1.

Some fans actually suspect that based on the way the shots of the Borg Queen are framed in the Season 2 finale, they actually had no idea yet who it would be at the time the scene was shot and set it up so anyone’s face could be plugged in. I’ve heard worse theories.

Patrick Stewart really didn’t want the show to exist just for the sake of a reunion special, and had turned down several other offers to bring back Picard over the previous two decades because that’s what it felt like. It took a lot of convincing for him to even accept Riker and Troi being in Season 1.
