I would avoid any explosives. We don’t need people getting injured or brought up on “terrorism” charges. A truck, a long heavy rope, and a cleared path should do it. That also provide least amount of personal risk, even for amateurs. Not sure if the window of opportunity is still open though.

My problem with the car is that $5500 is a decent chunk of money for a 22 year old domestic car. I could NP at a lower price but would be reluctant to spend $5500 for this. It’s just an average grocery getter these days. There’s nothing special about it.

CP a car with this provenance is worth at best $2k. It takes a lotta guts to ride around in one of these, no matter what is hiding under the hood.
