This is awesome! is it used for rallying? It looked awesome, especially with the steelies

I think its is a Ferrari 430, because I followed it into the carpark (though then it got signed off into the special area, for some reason a 2002 Focus doesnt get the same treatment...)

Oh yes, even the delivery lorries at Goodwood are period correct.

this was was in the GRRC enclosure, and someone actually drove that to the circuit, no trailer queens in there.

I did walk around the carpark grinning like a loon whilst shooting this. Just the sheer variety and awesomeness was like no other carpark on earth.

My personal favorite was the ‘beater’ Rolls Royce, which looked like it had been dragged out of a barn about 2 days before the revival.

If they don’t go up on the front page I’ll put them on my Flickr in a week or so (link is in the article)

It was indeed. Very slowly but it looked magnificent in all its unrestored glory.

You are correct sir. Even Peter Brock (designer of car) said he hadnt seen all 6 in the same place before, as the first ones had left Shelby before the last ones were complete.

*Fairlane Thunderbolt :) making swift progress through the field.

St Marys part 1, on the Saturday afternoon. I watched and shot that from the Chicane at the end of the lap. Was an incredible drive by Tom Kristensen.

Real! Goodwood doesnt allow imposters in!

1.3l of Mini vs 7L of Galaxie makes for an interesting race.

Lightweight and Low Drag E-types are the original #STANCELIFE cars.

The process for driving these appeared to be brake several miles before the corner, arrive at corner having really not slowed down at all, throw the car at the apex whilst leaning half out of the car, stand on throttle to point car in correct direction, and repeat.

one of three galaxies, and a Fairlane Thunderbolt in the St Marys trophy. Sadly one of the Galaxies ate its engine and cracked its flyweel on Saturday, so couldn’t come out to play on Sunday.

Festival Of Speed is a celebration of all things motorsport, and lots of car companies use it to sell new cars. You get all sorts of modern and classic machinery there, so its great to see the variety of cars from around the world.

you may have to save some HNNNGSSS for later, all 6 of the original Daytonas were there..... and I have pictures.....

There was a Ferrari GTB swapping out as a safety car over the weekend too, the DB5 was just taking it in turns.

Now playing

I submit before the jury, Pig N Ford races,
