This, We need this in Europe. I mean Marc VDS finally has one, but its not in an M tribute livery :(

Pretty much my earliest car memory was as a passenger in the back of an estate lada riva in white which my parents bought. They really hated that car, as much as it loved transmission parts (2 gearboxes and 3 clutches)

Sorry, thats us British peoples fault. With our wheel on the wrong side of the car, makes the whole thingy much cheaper to manufacture as you can make the dash modular and super easy to flip from LHD to RHD on a production line. Hence the dash is all blocky rather than being single piece.

Sorry to be pedantic but the Blackbush crash was yesterday.

This is one of those shots i’ve seen other people do, and been trying everytime I see FWD touring cars out to play. Every so often the car does what you want and you get this.

Might be worth a look on Youtube. It was all being filmed so might be lucky, though im not sure if it was on tv or streamed.

Sadly, it didnt come out on track, was static only, so this was the sole shot of it from the whole weekend. The GT demo was a little underwhelming considering what was in the paddock.

Rain only stops play if its so heavy that the track is entirely covered in standing water. Otherwise its just up to the drivers to not throw it off.

On behalf of the idiots standing out in the wet, can we make it international law that we get at least one day to dry out please :) I have only just dried out all my stuff today.

And now I must hang my head in shame. There was one in the Battle of Britain trophy, along with about 70 other cars, and I didnt get a single photo of it.

According to the entry its a Costin-Nathan GT, with a 1597cc engine

What Also_Ran said, its a Morgan Plus 4 SLR, 2.2l from 1963 (source: am photographer, did consult entry list)

There were a couple of Mclaren M1bs and a Chinook racing, but nothing from the real glory days of Can Am. Does this M8F and 917/30 from FOS help at all?

Happy to do it, even in the rain when things like the Breadvan are out racing, its hard not to be excited. Theres a full championship for them now, run by the HSCC they do the whole season. The speed of the really quick guys is pretty staggering, I only wish I was around when the series was in its heyday.

Who doesnt love a little bit of super touring action. Their second race got rained off otherwise I would have got more pictures of them in the damp conditions.

No Stratos there at all :( sad times. Would you like a bonus stratos from Wales Rally to help cheer you up:

This only came round once on Saturday morning sadly :( otherwise there would have been many many more Martini Safari pics.

This was my favourite shot from the whole weekend. Got politely asked to move literally directly after this came past but well worth it.

They do a top 50 runoff which are timed and the drivers are really on it. They do the same for the supercars. The rest of the runs are demo runs and some guys push and others don't.

so Jaguar made roughly $9 million for very little R&D spend, they got a massive amount of PR from it (everyone from Top Gear to Channel 4 did a piece on this), celebrated their heritage, but because they didn’t do what everyone else was doing they are foolish?
