I am, too. I’m sorry someone is trying to hijack your thread with nonsense.

I’m sorry you attracted the attention of sour crank above. I hear ya, and I’m proud, too. :)

Not to mention their well over 90% identical voting records.

As a Bernie supporter who will be happy to vote for Hillary, I suggest you remind them that (before things got acrimonious between them), Hillary and Bernie both said during the early debates that they agreed on most things even though they did have a few fundamental differences.

Exactly. She earned my vote for other reasons, but I am totally, crazy stoked that a woman is the nominee!! This is historic - a huge moment - and nobody is going to make me feel bad about being excited!

Took my almost 4 year old with me today. She helped me feed the ballot into the machine and I explained that I was happy to vote for a women to be in charge of the country.

Amen and well put. As a woman, I don’t think I fully understood how much I needed to see that until I saw her up there

Her speech, with its references to Seneca Falls and all the history that came before, was in perfect tune.

I had a nice glass of wine and cried some happy tears during that speech. It’s a nice night!

In less than a month it will have been 240 years since America declared its independence and this country began. In those 240 years there has not been a single woman as a presidential nominee of a major party. ABOUT GODDAMN TIME.

I enjoyed her speech and thought the delivery was great. I’m beyond fucking excited to see her smash Drumpf into the ground. Boy, bye.

/lays down Bernie Bro trolling keyboard, becomes a Hillary Man

There is a protest of sorts going on against gun violence—I believe it’s Coalition to End Gun Violence. They are asking people to wear orange today. Perhaps that’s the reason for her orange blouse.

Its why I’m optimistic. There are two Hilary Clintons: the intelligent and capable woman and the sleazy duplicitous liar of right and left wing fantasy. She’s constantly underestimated until people actually see her in action.

When the debates come around and Trump actually has to share the stage with the genuine

The narratives that have built up about Clinton being a terrible campaigner and Trump being a political genius are going to change now that we’re (almost)into the general election. She’s going to destroy him, and I’m going to love watching it.

Brilliant. Clinton is so much better than she’s given credit for. She’s intelligent, thoughtful, and experienced. She’s made mistakes, but so have we all. Plus, she’s learned from them, which unfortunately cannot be said for Trump.

I’m just proposing the simplest, no hassle solution to our country’s campaign coverage problems. It wouldn’t be difficult at all to completely ban private business media or to completely scrap our campaign finance law in order to push publicly funded elections. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

The solution is simple, really: ban all for-profit media ventures and have publicly funded elections with mandated equal air time. Easy peasy!
