I think it must have been actually pretty realistic training. I grew up in Southeast Texas, and if you’ve ever ween a harvested pine forest it looks a lot like the Ardennes after a few artillery barrages.

Great read. Thank you.

And its sequel —

At the end of Clone Wars, in the last few episodes, Maul even makes it pretty explicit that: ‘Stop it? Stop what? The Republic from falling? The Jedi from collapsing? It’s already happened.’ and calls Anakin Palpatine’s prize.

That sounds 100% plausible! Especially if we’re talking about the Robot Chicken version voiced by Seth MacFarlane.

“character pulls tarp off of something they thought they'd put away for good," be it car, motorcycle, or costume.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve never had any urge to ever write a 10 page manifesto about my place of employment and distribute it widely, nor do I think anyone would want to read it. The sheer entitlement of it is just staggering.

I think turning Anakin was gravy on Palpatine ‘s plan. It was like Palpatine saying “hey Jedi! Not only.did I take over the government, install myself as emperor, brand you all as traitors, and wipe out your order (without any of you suspecting), but I’m also taking your “chosen one” as my apprentice. “ Ha,Ha,Ha!!!

Dude. You are a fucking nerd. And I love you.

Yeah, I hear you there, but if we’re really going to start laying blame, it goes back to Qui Gon. He was told directly that Anakin should not be accepted as a Jedi trainee, and then Obi Wan, his head filled with Qui Gon’s idealism, pulled a procedural move to train Anakin himself. So I guess this was also a failure of

I mean, yes?

But surely the only reason that she learns what she does is she *isn’t* in a position to do anything? If the Jedi hadn’t basically offered her up as a sacrifice she’d almost certainly have been with Anakin when Palps was captured, sorry, ‘captured’ by the Separatists so doesn’t talk to Maul. By the time she learns the

I mean, it’s long been established that multiple Jedi survived the Purge; the door was always open for her to survive.

This image has a very Liz Lemon “I’m outta here, nerds!” vibe to it.

Not my story so I can’t enter it in the Pissing Contest, but a co-worker would NOPE right up whenever we suggested a particular local “country cookin’” restaurant for lunch.
