I find Portman is frequently not very good when she's checked out (Jennifer Lawrence is the same). Hopefully now they're giving her cool stuff to do she'll be a lot better.

I can't remember the ins and outs exactly but it was the operating table one, I think it was the murderer who didn't get sent down who copped for it.

Aye, but Downton is in no way a more serious film for adults than any MCU film is.

I remember this film had a really nasty kill in it that I believe they stole from the Dexter books. Said kill was also why I never read any more Dexter books.

I love that film, meathead Heat indeed.

You’re not wrong. The show debuts weekly on Netflix here thankfully, so no adverts, but this episode was something like 11 minutes shorter than last week’s.

I'm not sure it makes a difference but Glitter sold his back catalogue years ago and doesn't make any money when someone uses his songs in soundtracks. 

I quite liked Little Drummer Girl but it wasn’t nearly as good as the combination of le Carré/Park Chan-wook/Pugh/Skarsgård/Shannon should have been.
