I love that - Craig Mazin of Scary Movie 3 & 4/Identity Thief fame teaming up with the erstwhile Jazz Rap one-hit wonder Stakka Bo to create one of the most acclaimed miniseries ever. Tremendous stuff.

Well his real name is William, but I don’t know if he goes by that any more.

Must be great being famous, you just put your fantasy wedding officiator out into the ether and the world makes it a reality. It’s worked for Kal Pen and I assume it’ll work for Kristen Stewart, too.

Very few people have been turning out good work for as long as Dean Stockwell managed, taking in a bunch of classic films, two of the all time great Sci Fi TV shows and a whole bunch of fun appearances.

Bastard, I was just scrolling down to make that joke (or something similar, yours was probably better).

I think *he* thought it was, aye.

I never liked Shiv (not that this programme asks or expects you to “like” any of them) so I’m enjoying the current weekly game of “Let’s brutalise Shiv” while giving her just enough wins that it doesn’t feel like seal-clubbing.

Mate, I agree with that interpretation. In fact, I was living in a shared student house at the time and a few weeks later my mate was playing Don’t Stop Believin’ in the kitchen and I walked in and mimed shooting him in the back of the head as an homage.

Agreed mate, my overwhelming feeling watching The Room was simply boredom.

Absolutely mate, couldn’t agree more! I thought it was a great ending.

To be fair the “no ending” thing is that the final scene doesn’t finish. The last series does a good job of tying a lot of things up nicely (while leaving a lot of things in the air - it’s “life” after all)

As an English (little r) republican, nothing interests me less than films and TV about the royals*.

A sense of weight to the fights and stunts and the slightest acknowledgement that the film’s world has the same physical characteristics as our own would be antithesis enough for me.

Not only was David Bowie a part-time Nazi, but he allegedly also nonced it up with the same underage girl as Jimmy Page - Lori Mattix.

How can a film that mighty start filming without a finished script? All those stories of the “twists” being rewritten constantly on set boggle the mind.

Although of course there is very much the possibility that Nora just made it all up.

I think he would have remained a recurring character, had it not been for his cancer diagnosis (thought to be terminal, now thankfully in remission).

I had to check that Ginuwine wasn’t something Parks & Rec made up for the sake of a gag.

Date With A Vampyre - The Screaming Tribesmen (the EP is spelled Vampyre, the song might actually be Vampire now I think of it)

He's scared cos they think they'll slide it in with No Vaseline.
