Upvoted for 2001. That movie screams to be seen on the big screen. Plus I would have loved to have seen it with little knowledge of the plot, and then have the chance to discuss the meaning of the film afterward with friends.

Interesting comparison of Night Court and NewsRadio. I would agree both shows shared a similar absurdist outlook, but I think the writing on NewsRadio was far superior. And NewsRadio was far more of an ensemble. To me, John Larroquette was the alpha and omega of Night Court.
