I think they should keep the alien stuff but maybe make them time travelers. And instead of a quickening they can turn into a different person. Call it "Doctor Highlander"

No, she was cool with it but she loves the horror genre. But I did watch the first episode with her to see what the show was like and how she was handling it.
I do think it was a little too intense for younger kids (<10 maybe)

This was not a show I would have ever thought of watching but my 12 yo daughter loved it so I watched a bit of it. Pretty slow moving and really didn't make me want to watch more but I can see where some tweens would enjoy it. Might be a little too creepy/scary for a younger child.

I'm old school enough to miss Jim McKay on the ABC Olympic broadcasts. Now excuse me while I chase some kids off my lawn.
