That’s sad. I really liked Night In the Woods. Hopefully they recover ok and maybe can circle back to it some day in the distant future. I understand cancelling. It’s hard enough to make a game but when you have a smaller team and someone is going through issues like this it would be detrimental to their health and

What a sleazy, manipulative thing to say. Shame on you.

That’s not even remotely what happened, but k

Since “New Guy” Decided to dismiss my comment, I want to point out that “social justice seekers” did not “drive Holwka to suicide,”

i got myocarditis from a virus in 2021, i wonder if it’s the same thing. took two years for my breathing to go back to normal. hope he gets well soon.

NOOOOO Scott Benson get well soon!

This ain’t a unique take, but it is the correct one.

I didn’t care for Progressive at all. It tried to act like a sequel but refused to actually explore in any depth feeling pointless. On the other hand I really liked Alternative. Has the original feel of a teen lost as she is growing up and feels like its own story.

I don’t want FLCL to explain things or make sense, I want FLCL.

I was just thinking last when reading an article of yours last week, “Luke’s still here.” But damn, I guess it truly is the end of an era for Kotaku now. I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

The internet and websites we frequent are just overall shittier than they were 10, even 5 years ago. More and more places disappearing, more and more consolidation with things being worse for the end user/customer.

Waypoint shut down, All of Giant Bomb’s original folks moved on, now the last of the oldschool Kotaku writers leaves the site. I know that most of these folks have other projects ongoing, but it does seem like a lot of my old standard bookmarks aren’t what they used to be, for better or worse.

I’ve been around these parts on and off since 2009, feels like the last OG is leaving the building. Not that we had a great rapport or anything, but you were a stalwart of the site. Good luck in your future pursuits.

To be fair, there’s nothing wrong with using Commercial off-the-Shelf parts in something so long as they’re still fulfilling the purpose they were designed for—to a point; we all know you get what you pay for! A CotS solution that has been rigorously tested and approved for its application is better than engineering

Well, Zappa got pushed into an orchestra pit by an audience member and it fucked him up pretty good. I’m sure he had zero tolerance after that.

Magic. This isn’t a joke, this is the explanation it gives. You’re given your child by magical sprites. Which is why the gay couples can have a kid that looks like them without getting into the nuts and bolts of how that’s possible.

Also funny: jail time, criminal record and being sued.

And just think, in another year or two we’ll get to start all over again!

It is great that they posted this on Saturday - as they request you use their support system to make the request - which only runs Mon-Fri.

Just... phenomenal customer service.

Thats dumb, as someone pointed out, a blanket does the same and they will move it. There is a reason these movers know how to do their jobs.
