Man, Game Freak games are usually pretty well put together glitch-wise (though X and Y had a notable issue on release iirc). Forget who did this remake, but they haven’t quite gotten this down yet, huh?

Sounds cool, but man that grid screenshot is incredibly underwhelming.

I absolutely want better wages throughout the supply chain. But I think shrinking products is both a) unnecessary when many of these companies already have profits that could make wages better and b) not actually leading to better wages right now.

Played this last year for the first time and it holds up in every regard. Only thing it’s missing is a side quest log. (I just took notes and honestly that made it feel like a big adventure.)

It does say in another line that it will play games in the cloud. But you’re right that it doesn’t seem to be an especially streaming-heavy device and my reading was off. That’s my bad.

Streaming is definitely being pushed as the next big thing for gaming, and man am I not down with this or any other stream device. If I’ve got the money I’m running the game in front of me. Pass on the lag.

I mean, look around, every modern shooter has ripped freedom of movement stuff from Titanfall. They were definitely hugely impactful.

I don’t usually complain about editorial direction, but these kind of articles rub me the wrong way. There’s no context for where in the overall chart anything is, no other games to compare to, and no credit given to Farming Simulator for being a popular game. Yeah I’ve been like a few clicks away from buying this one several times. Seems like a really cool console with Gamepass, and it’s available.

Sorry, my first sentence was poorly written and I didn’t mean to imply all stuff inspired by Lovecraft carried that racism forward, necessarily. Just that it is prominent in his work.

A lot of the media is either inspired by his racism or directly features it, though. Hard to separate Lovecraft’s racism from his work when the racism is so prominent.
