Are we doomed to repeat fads forever? When Bakugan comes back I better be the first to know.

Really disappointed about the framerate. might wait and see if something is coming down the pipeline since my launch switch is aging.
Sounds like you and the author just have a different opinion
Bra-fucking-vo. Just played a modern Hitman for the first time this week, these games are something else.
The only time random battles bothered me too much in FFVII was the mansion in Nibelheim. The encounter rate in that game isn’t too bad (imo), especially since in dungeons it works on a step count. (On Switch I used the encounter cheat only in the mansion.) But some other games I’ve dipped into have been really bad.
“The safety and well-being of our competitors, organizers, employees, local communities, and partners [continue] to be our top priority and is the primary consideration with every decision we make,” said the company, “and, breaking with our longstanding slogan, we recommend you do not catch this one.”
Yo same (ditches thread)
The location art was my favorite part of the first game and I’m glad that seems to still be around. I agree that these character models are kinda grimy. Should’ve stuck with the lowkey faces of the first game.
Moving past random encounters is the best thing for the genre, but it does make it really hard to get back into the groove when replaying older JRPGs.
these people are so lame
Nope, first time playthrough, not there yet (though I know you go there). Right now it’s the Kislev sewers. I dunno I just cannot make heads or tails of it. Gonna draw a map next time, actually (I got distracted and died when I was last playing).
I honestly think PS1 low-poly indie games will come around. It’s okay if you don’t like it though! There’s definitely some unpleasantness - I’m stuck in a Xenogears dungeon right now in which I absolutely do not know where the fuck I am or am supposed to go, everything looks the same. But I appreciate the craft.
Absolutely. And FVII (coming back to this because I just played it) still has things that can wow you. How handcrafted the sidequests are, optional cutscenes, SO MANY drawn backgrounds. Seriously, the art all over that game is amazing and every location is unique. It’s not what “good graphics” is anymore but a ton of…
I feel that. I was telling my brother I loved how FFVII looked on PS1 and less on Switch (PC version) and he looked at me like I had two heads.
Looks great. Please ignore that I’ve been playing only PS1 games for a few months now.
I do not care at all but this framing is very interesting. excited to find out.
Less worried about getting like, sued, and more that I’m very anti-corporate and would feel weird having what is to some extent corporate imagery on me.
Sometimes I think yes and then other times I feel like putting something that’s copyrighted on my body is too much. Now if I ever get that FLCL tat you can call me a hypocrite.
Leaving a comment now so people can read it 20 years in the future when this console is still rolling and they refuse to use a new article. Hello!
yes (if you go to her site there’s always a note)
