Sport cup 2 upsized tires are a HUGE difference in grip and could already start causing problems. I believe Matt farah also made this point about Lotus? They had a $2k option for sport cup tires, but they dont mention that along with that option comes stronger bushings and a ton of support parts in the rest of the…
Savagegeese did a great video this week about why this might be a bad idea. Basically the car may be engineered around the limits of the stock tires, and when you throw some track tires on it, now you are putting pressure on parts that arent meant to take that kind of pressure. Now that you have way more grip you…
Comparing new prices to CPO and tuned performance to stock performance shows how little “class” the average M4 owner has. Have fun with your discount car for the discount guy. You sound fun.
460, and the ecoboost gets more torque than the gt with a tune, but not more power. Its still slower.
They also have standard reverse cameras, more airbags, and other standards safety features.
I am in such disbelief that a car journalist wouldnt know, that I assume hes trying to create clickbate and make you comment to yell at him so his article gets alot of comments and views.
Now double that for the cheapest used quad.
Many sporty cars will have enough camber to look ok from the outside, but have no tread on the inside. Check the whole tire, not just the outside.
Average height of CEOs in America is 6'2"
I said the same thing till I drove a camaro and couldnt fit comfortably nor see out of the thing. So now I sit here with neither.
But is it available with the nice LCD and a bench seat up front? BRING BACK BENCH SEATING IN NON-SPORTS CARS!
They still have a value for the used car market, and trade ins. They offer a “one stop shop” for buying a used car. Makes the deal easier than dealing with a bank and a private party and a dmv. You pay for that convenience but its worth it to some people.
Its not even the wheels, the lowered suspension, and the 120k miles that turns me away. Its the rolled fenders. Those are going to rust on day 1. Though the other things didnt help, suspension and wheels can be reversed. Mileage is not a huge deal if its take care of. Be aware of the maintenance though.
They are trying to be like the Germans. To their credit, the only cars I’ve seen broken down the the side of the road this month were German cars and a blue Kia Stinger.
I think no one is buying them because GM forgot that people have to fit in the car and see out of it. C5 could fit Andre the Giant, C6 was already smaller, C7 is not built for a full sized American.
Should have built it in America, or anywhere but Australia.
Weird, cars.com is showing them well below MSRP. Dishonest dealership? I dont believe it!
Fair point. Toyota sticks to “tried and true” technology way longer than anyone else. It is also what gives it the reputation for reliability and value retention. Though I would not complain if they got the gx transmission, better gas mileage, and retained the reliability.
I dont mind a strong well known auto in a heavy “offroad” truck. Manuals are for sports cars, and commuters with tiny engines. I know the commenters on this site have a “manual or bust” mentality, but autos have their place, and this certainly is it.
