This wasn’t a pilot in an airplane. Don’t pretend like you don’t know how people use the term autopilot in “real life.” I would argue he was definitely “on autopilot” if the system allowed him to become so distracted that he was unaware of the upcoming section of roadway where the system fails.

To be fair, the market doesn’t seem all that excited about the actual electric F-150 either.

Probably the most wild thing to me in Project 2025 is that the right wing goon squad wants to pump more oil and gas because LIB TEARS.

In an urban environment like where I am, it has the added negative of essentially monetizing the sidewalks. Most delivery people get around by bike/scooter to avoid traffic congestion but they can cut their delivery time down even more if they ride on sidewalks (not legal). So now we get not just regular bikes but

Food delivery is an established, proven service popular with consumers. The problem lies in making the delivery drivers free agents. It used to be that a pizza delivery guy would be working in the kitchen when not out on delivery, so he got paid an hourly wage and the tips were just a bonus. Now, the drivers are sittin

Good to see the E39 made the list. The E39 M5 was my dream car to buy after finishing school, but then I didn’t finish college for a long time because I couldn’t afford it, and then didn’t even finish with the degree I’d originally intended.

Fast forward a few years...uh, decades and now I have an E39, just not M5-ish.

I’ve been in quite a few in Germany that were used by car service companies, and they had good things to say about them. High miles, minimal issues.

But all* images taken now are AI enhanced to some degree. Red-eye reduction from 20 years ago could be be “ai enhanced”.

I think I’d have to say some sort of sedan or wagon. Like an M5, either in sedan or Touring guise. With a manual.

The one I have already, and it’s going to the grave with me. BMW M5 (E39). It checks every single box you could ever think of, even reliability !!

I’ll keep my 1937 Buick till the day I die.

If we didn’t already have the word yeet, I feel like we would have invented it to describe what that FJ did to our man there.

Late C3 Corvettes - fantastic looking hot garbage. Built in decent numbers, so you likely won’t get too much pushback on improving a few.

I was hoping to find this comment already here and not have to spark it myself.

Busses + Bagdes = Morans

I think its because ( And I never-ever thought I would say this ) he is comparatively “decent” compared to the orange flaming piece of human excrement that became the next Republican president. I thought Bush was the absolute worst president we ever had. Then Trump came along and said hold my beer.

Don’t forget Al Franken’s oft-repeated “I like Ted Cruz more than most people like Ted Cruz, and I hate Ted Cruz.”

This chode is just tired of people being mean to him while he flees to Mexico during weather events.

He *use to* work in theater gigs, hasn’t owned a car in years, and now has a commute in Maryland.  He needs a car, and $25K is about as practical a price point you can get for someone with a full-time software job -- he didn’t say that he wants to work on his car on the weekends, so a $10K car is not an option.

Hmmm...I’ve owned, lordy, I think three GTIs in my lifetime: Mk I, then a Mk III VR6 in 2002, and more recently a MK VI. (I’ve also owned two GLIs...a 16V Scirocco...whatever).
