Can’t believe H2 and H3 haven’t been mentioned. Abominations.

The “new” Honda Accord looked 30 years old the day it debuted.

That last one is an aftermarket E60 fascia kit.
I think people are going to focus too much on exteriors here. Interiors started becoming more tech focused in the early 2010s. The dashboards of modern cars is what is going to make them look dated very quickly.
BMW and their “change for the sake of change” monster grilles:
Who needs Viagra when your car can give you this much wood?
His uniform appears to have gibberish chinese glyphs on the shoulders and lapels in several images (as if the AI is partially confuzzling him with uncle Mao perhaps.) Also, his array of medals are a smear of color on the final picture - interesting, but not very historically accurate I suspect. :)
You are correct. I have issued a correction at the bottom of the post and will be forever ashamed of my error.
And who among us hasn’t owned a denim vest where the button holes don’t match the buttons?
I wrote the only book on the subject and spent 12 years doing so. The first car was not aluminum, it was doped fabric like the smaller car. There were not two of the smaller cars either, it’s a misunderstanding because the black#1 car was painted white after the Staten Island crash. Baker never came close to 136 miles…
I regularly have people ask me how old/what year mine is to hear surprise in their voice when I tell them it’s an ‘01. It was really polarising at the time (and a big part of that, if I remember correctly, was because it shared its frontend with the critically-lauded, but cheaper, boxster), but has aged really well.…
I agree with 16 of 17 on this list.
I suspect Audi was worried the 1st gen looked too much like a Beetle and was thought of as “girly.” They made it look a little more aggressive and it lost its charm. Also the baseball stitching didn’t age well.
I’m assuming that wasn’t done already since they knew that there was no vacancy anywhere. I guess they could have just gone and sat in the lobby at one of these places, get the police called on them for trespassing and spend the night at the station. But that’s just what my poor ass brain thinks of 🤣
Good ol’ loss-aversion bias.
A big one for me was the old Saturn LS. The first model had a clean, low-profile front end with pretty thin headlamps for the time. Then the refresh came along and cocked that all up with some of the worst headlamps ever designed. The whole front end became a train wreck.
That doesnt surprise me at all that some other departments run off of this scam. I’m curious at what ratio they pull over locals vs out of state licence plates because I can almost guarantee its insane for the out of state pull overs. Not like anyone will do anything about it because “police” but fuck all that shit.
Give us the technical details! Is it selvedge? Right hand twill, left hand twill, or something more interesting? 11oz, 13oz, 16oz — or are they going hardcore with some of that heavy-duty 21oz fabric?
Second this, fuck Florida as a state entirely and the police departments fall right into that area. More specifically I’m talking about Volusia County. If you have any out of state plates they will pull you over “just because” and find a reason after. You get your ticket and since you are out of state cant really…
