Don’t forget that market adjustments are a thing. The 1M sold for significantly more than MSRP when new. I seem to recall dealers asking $70k+ for them (Jalopnik had a post about a dealer at the time asking $95k). It’s not been a bad investment, but it hasn’t appreciated much, if at all.
