There’s also the very clickbait title: You’re Pronouncing All the German Car Brand Names Wrong.
However…not one person on that jury was white.
If we were living in my imagined science fiction future, a husband or ex-husband objecting to an abortion would be told, “Fine, we’ll transplant the fetus into an artificial uterus in your body, and you can carry it to term.”
Yes! This is something that young, fit people have a hard time recognizing—it’s easiest for older people if they can plant both feet on the ground; sit down in the seat, facing around 90 degrees from the front of the car; and then swivel their legs and body around to be facing forward.

“I worked a few extra unpaid hours that I’d like back now,” in contrast, seems never to be successful unless the legal system gets involved.
Also,
Excellent finds, Steve, and nice write-ups. (The BMW is soooo tempting...)
There’s a memorable bit on an old Steve Martin album, when he was mainly a stand-up comedian.
Spag. Spaaaag.
What a great story! Thanks.
It’s interesting to contrast this implicit perspective with the abortion debate, because one side shows no hesitation about jumping in without any knowledge at all.
A Close Shave
Aside from a bit more room and being easier on the knees for older people, many have been (falsely) sold that a higher driving position means that they’re safer.
