Hey, why aren't the Archmaesters more pissed about the disgraced Qyburn becoming Hand? Also, why haven't they chosen a new Grand Maester yet? You'd think they'd be more concerned about the sort of stuff that affects their status and influence.

I hope you're trolling.
When did Tyrion learn Dothraki?
It was telegraphed as Bron (the shot of him getting up and looking at a horse).
So why in the hell does Dany burn the food wagons? I thought she was relying on that to feed her troops? The Dothraki would have captured it all no problem.
My meaning being: If the deserters left via that gate, how (and why) did they close it? If they left by a different gate, why is this one not barred?
If as Jaime says, Dragonstone has deep water ports, why does Dany have to row a mile in to a shallow beach?
I like how they took the time to close the gates (but didn't bar them!) so Dany could have a dramatic entrance. No door handles either; they must have used their fingernails.
Someone has since posted it on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
No comment on the vilification of the NTSB? Talk about forced drama. Eastwood seems to love erecting straw men to argue with.
Sidevoted.
I'll just leave this here: http://www.economist.com/bl…
Frank Miller is probably not the most reliable witness you could ask for.
Antique Japanese blades were made with soft, low carbon cores that bend (deform) rather than "splinter" at a relatively low yield stress.
Better as a TV series, I think.
Hoping this leads another studio to finally adapt Neal Stephenson's sublime Baroque Cycle.
If you marathon the series (as I've done twice now) and are thus in an emotionally exhausted state, the finale isn't so bad. You stop paying attention to the plot logic and just ride the tone (the music helps).
Aw hell. We're gonna miss you here, Sonia. What a great last piece.
It’s unclear whether this ban will extend to the screening of Hollywood
movies, or whether China still likes taking American money.
Dropped it somewhere in season 2. Solid acting and beautiful to look at, but I was frustrated by the mediocre writing. Maybe I'll try season 3.
