is John Mulaney a thing again? I was just watching Spiderverse the other day and thinking about how much public perception has changed of him since then, that was a weird time

yeah, true. it might be his all-round best performance in the role. I love that you see in real-time the acerbic Doctor he started as melting away and he fully becomes the lovable curmudgeon professor that he is for his final season
A couple years back I probably would’ve said Buffy’s Amends, but given I can’t quite look at that show the same anymore... I dunno, maybe Doctor Who - A Christmas Carol?
the scene where Capaldi gets to pretend to see the inside of the TARDIS for the first time is an all-timer
I really liked 11's dark green coat too, it's a shame he only had it for half a season
the entirety of this list could be Andor scenes honestly. “never more than 12", “CLIMB!” Brasso hitting the stormtrooper with the brick, "that's just love, nothing you can do about that", Syril bickering with his mother every time. absolute embarrassment of riches in that show
yeah this was fantastic, Katie McElhenney at this point has to be one of the greatest writers working in television. frankly it really threw into relief how anodyne and stagnant the rest of this season has felt
this season has been pretty rough going, I really hope this standalone episode is another banger because I'm losing interest a bit
how you gonna hide Samara Weaving right at the end of the cast list like that, talk about burying the lede
honestly if Sault had spaced out their drops I think we’d be seeing 11 and Untitled (God) on a lot of year-end lists, but 5 albums at once made people feel a bit overwhelmed, understandably
RIP legend. the end of Lonely Souls is imo the most haunting thing ever televised and the music had everything to do with it. "I’m so sorry”
I know they came out literally days ago but not having the new Little Simz and SZA albums on here is invalidating. I don't make the rules I'm sorry (props for actually having the best album of the year with Blue Rev though!)
Gungi is adorable, I wonder if this means any of the other younglings who actually got character development will come back? Kitooni was a great character I wouldn't mind seeing again
His House was fantastic, I still think about scenes from it often
yeah putting nostalgia aside this was easily the best Star Wars property, it's gonna be rough going from this back to the other d+ muck now
I found myself losing all my misgivings about her as the movie went on honestly. she’s definitely said some dumb shit and I hope she chooses to educate herself instead of doubling down on it, but purely in terms of the art her performance in the movie was pretty incredible. I also wasn’t expecting how dark they would…
95% sure he was filming Nope when Black Panther 2 was filming. he made the right choice, I mean, Nope is the best film I’ve seen all year
the Old McAlfred rap really drove home to me how much I'm gonna miss Glover and Henry playing these characters. their comic chemistry was amazing
I'm with you. doesn't matter whether the reality of the series was a dream or not (I mean we had fucking time travel last season so it was already pretty questionable), but the characters being at peace or something close to it is what's really important. that shot of Earn, Van and Al through the window and Darius'…
I kinda feel the opposite. s4 has been great, but a little too safe for me - I wanted the show to get even wilder in its last season but instead it’s regressed back to s1 a bit, complete with a BAN sequel and all. plus Snipe Hunt and Alfred’s World were the only times it really hit emotionally as the best of this show…
