that finale was unbelievable. i was yelling at my TV

that episode was one of the highlights of this season anyway. apart from it kinda interrupt Din and Bo’s story in a slightly jarring way, I’m not sure what all the whining is about
goddamn, this season has just been bland as hell to me. feels like the two driving forces of fun in the past two seasons - getting Grogu to the finish point of his quest, and seeing weird new worlds/aliens every week - are both gone because of the baffling BoBF asspull they did. now it’s just three episodes on a…
I laughed so hard when she put him on hold and then called back to figure out where he was. one of the best scenes in any Scream so far
oh you wake now Fernando?!
it was just a callback to a line in Civil War where he wants orange slices after turning into massive Ant-Man for the first time
shoulda let him appear in Agents of SHIELD, the version in Quantumania was absolutely terrible. who the hell thought we needed to see Darren Cross, the most forgettable villain of all time, again?
this one really, really stings. RIP Trugoy and eternal fuck you to Tommy Boy.
never have, never will. there is no movie in Ba Sing Se
Old deserves to be higher here purely for the calcium deficiency death scene, he was nasty for that one
absolute insanity having Lady in the Water halfway up this list, it's literally the worst movie I've ever seen. stuff like Glass and Old at the very least plays with some compelling ideas and great camerawork even if they aren't great films, LITW is just absolute huffing-your-own-farts bullshit
what's his surname? Sedan?
imagine being enough of a fuckhead to type and publish this comment, seek help
key word here is adapting, the word itself implies changing the material. very few good movies would be made if we filmed word for word what's on the page
I don’t think anything I said implied that this was the best work the cast of this movie has ever done (though you could definitely make a case for Bautista). what I said was, this may the best overall performance by a cast in a film by M Night Shyamalan
really enjoyed this movie, and as someone who thought Split, Glass and The Visit were all a riot, it’s definitely his best in years
in terms of acting this may actually be the best Shyamalan film, everyone in the cast is superlative
I've always thought that whether the movie is terrible or amazing (there's no real middle ground with the guy) you can rely on a Shyamalan movie to be uniquely his. the combination of his distinctive camerawork, bizarre dialogue, oddly inclusive version of spirituality and seeming inability to do anything else than…
he's really really great in this. I've been impressed with him for a while but it feels like this movie was just made for Dave to knock out of the park
Atlanta and BCS ending in the same year really does feel like the kiss-off to an era doesn't it
