all of Twin Peaks, the homeless person in Mulholland Drive, that one fucking jumpscare in Inland Empire and I still don’t think I’ve ever been as scared by something Lynch made as that damn phone call in Lost Highway

I just love this show a lot, especially at a time in the world like this. It’s so... comfortable, but it never coddles the viewer. It could tip over into too-cutesy or too mystery-heavy so easily, but the character work (especially Simone and Janice) is so thorough and great that there’s always something real to fall…
I came here to post “you can see the sickness of a man right through his iris”, lmao
I did eat all the maraconi. It’s messed up that he knows
Season 6 was almost as good as the first two seasons, better than the third and fifth. It’s a terrific way to end the show
I’m surprised no-one mentioned the best moment of this whole arc, when Windu tried to appeal to the battle droids’ better natures and Obi-Wan was just looking at him with that expression of pure confusion. great stuff
I think The Dark Tower’s ending is one of the best I’ve read from a long-running series (as in 3 books or more), honestly. what it says about the protagonist and the world he lives in is absolutely brilliant
yeah whoever wrote this article needs to see Snatch real quick. before ze Germans get here
this article should be titled “Elizabeth Henstridge to star in show, and some other people we guess idk”
in fairness to you, that’s a much more polite response than I deserved from my first comment lol. sorry for the bad vibes up there, long day
Pop is likely better than anything Pearl Jam ever released
This was definitely the weakest one so far. A good bit of action in the third of a four-part arc is always nice to pep things up, but the weirdly stilted dialogue, the above-mentioned weird fadeout instead of a cool flying chase, the music oddly fading up midway through the big battle instead of keeping pace with…
“with Banks adding that most of the famous songs came after Gabriel left anyway.”
“Cinnamon” is a fucking banger, and we’ve just found out boygenius are doing vocals on a song from the album. not the hugest Paramore fan, but I’m kinda fuckin keen for this
The Blackcoat’s Daughter was absolutely incredible, and this film definitely sounds 100% my shit
I can’t wait for this documentary about the making of Weezer’s best album!
I’m not saying they cast him for his looks, as he’s a tremendous actor too, but Michael Mando is literally one of the most attractive men I’ve seen on TV
I’d just like to mention that quick shot of Gus standing in front of his half-built chiller, illuminated by lights, with his back to the camera. It was gone too quick, but it was absolutely goddamn magnificent.
“I won’t leave you... not this time” with the music kicking in... god damn. the entire show was worth it for that scene
not only does making her a fated Super Special child needly overcomplicate canon, it actively detracts from what makes The Doctor, as a character, so great. from Hartnell to Troughton there was a very clear character arc that somehow survived pretty much intact through multiple writers, eras and versions of the show.…
