Split is way better in the context of the ridiculous, defying-all-logic trilogy though! just my two cents

Old Tool Road
absolutely. some good songs but “Hot Shower” and most of the second half are embarrassingly bad, I don’t know what he was thinking
this is what I came here to say - I love Hamill, his voice acting is absolutely iconic (he’s the best Joker) and one of the few seemingly genuinely great people who happens to be a celebrity, and he did really good work in TLJ. but his acting in the original trilogy is awful. I have no idea how people watch some of…
I think Buffy’s last season is a little better than its reputation suggests, “Selfless” and “Conversations With Dead People” at the least are as good as anything the show ever did. but yeah Angel’s last season absolutely trumps it, and could be the best season of either show
came here for Angel, was not disappointed
The Curse of Fenric was always one of my favourites, and Ghost Light is utterly brilliant in its ridiculous nonsensical whimsy. Cartmel really did redeem the show a lot in those last two seasons, I wonder if it would have been revived in 2005 if he hadn’t
yeah, Ursa Minor was a miss but Dopamine and We Are Drugs were really solid pop records
and it’s... not too good. very weird that he released three relatively lean, consistent, thematically smooth “mixtapes” then just dumped a bunch of skits and filler onto an 80-minute project for this “album” - shouldn’t it be the other way around? there’s a handful of good songs, but it’s a mess
HaCF is legitimately one of my favourites of the past few years. unbelievable last season
“The adaptation will be written by Angelina Burnett, who has previously worked on The Americans, Halt And Catch Fire, Hannibal”
Long days and pleasant nights
change that to first four and I’d fully agree - Wizard and Glass is also up there with my favourite King work, and you can definitely feel the hit the series takes with the massive gap before he wrote the final three books (though I still enjoy those, honestly - I’m hopeless with the series). even just the…
just started The Dark Tower again. just like the first time I read this series, I find The Gunslinger horrifying, surreally unnerving, and so trancelike with its rhythms that when the brutal moments occur it’s like getting slapped in the face. it’s emphatically one of my favourite King books - anyone else think it’s…
this was a pleasant surprise - his voice reminds me of Syd Barrett
did you check out Kids See Ghosts? there’s a fair bit of rapping Cudi on there, including some absolute fire on “4th Dimension”
you’re not wrong. Doo Rags and Purple are some of his best
my favourite part of the whole movie was that one second of Michael killing someone in the background of the gas station while the blogger was wandering around. it was such a perfect “creepy shit happening in the background” moment
I just want a HBO The Dark Tower. is it too much to ask?
I know I should be pessimistic and suspicious of this but it looks fucking fantastic.
