along the lines of your Should Have Known Better line is my favourite line from the album: “I love you more than the world can contain in its lonely and ramshackle head”. *wow.*

ah yes, 2 whole years, the standard gap between albums since like the 1970s. how dare he?

yeah this was one of the better ones, as opposed to last week which hit all the expected funny notes but never really tied into anything larger or gave us anything new about the characters. this episode was a huge landmark in the arcs of two major characters and it had the concept of forgiving family to tie it

the way this episode ran out of steam in the last 10 minutes was pretty disheartening. endings are really not Chibnall’s strong suit. also, has anyone in this comment section actually heard a second of dubstep?

“You made an awesome human” was the best line of the night

this is the best one in the thread

Ryan was fantastic this whole episode, it was the first time I really understood what kind of character they’re writing him to be. his “nice job Ryan” “thanks Ryan!” killed me

he played a ripper solo on “Submission” that got mixed down to essentially silent levels below Danny Brown’s verse and I’m still furious about it

Eng... land?

“Fisk tells Dex that he thought of Wesley “like a son,” which is not at all how I would’ve characterized their relationship. If anything, I feel like Wesley was more paternal towards Fisk than Fisk ever was to him. Maybe Fisk was just saying that to further manipulate Dex.”

I’m here for that accent love - I don’t know what region of America Cox is from but I would like everyone in the world to be from there too

It’s pretty clear none of the writers of this show have ever been remotely near Australia or an actual Australian. honestly it just makes the whole thing funnier

Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts is already basically a movie

“It was dope. The End. By Jason Mendoza.”

Donna was the best, yes. and his characterisation from roughly Midnight to The Waters of Mars was, I think, extremely solid - he’s a Doctor who’s brilliant, and he knows he’s brilliant, and that brilliance actually isolates him from the people he’s trying to help and makes them turn against him when he thinks he’s

nothing stuck with Ten. I’m not trying to be overly negative, because I love Tennant and his best episodes really were some of the best, but Ten’s characterisation was a fucking mess and not in a good, fun way. hoping they avoid that with Thirteen

the Principal in season 7 was black too, and he’s honestly a pretty great character

one thing I’m curious about - is Lalo Tuco’s brother, or what? how many damn nephews does Hector actually have?

You’re a mouse in a maze...

I love how you can tell it’s a 2014-2015 era track because Kendrick is actually putting in effort on it
