I just used the in-famous joke to a friend yesterday using insecure. Has it really been 31 years?!

I didn't know Spider-Man played Jack Ryan…

Goddamn you AVClub, you HAD to have the first frame of the apartment fight clip be the thing in this movie (or most movies for that matter) that gives me the heebie-jeebies the worst…

Just think of how gigantic those bear eggs would be too…

This needs a lot more upvotes. I think the timing of it is what's hurting you, most people have no eye deer.

I enjoyed Clark Duke in those last couple Office seasons. I thought he was one of the few bright spots, behind the discovery of Ellie Kemper, but still better than pretty much anything else on the show at that point. There, I said it.

Dungeonmaster! Lee Horsely! A shooting sword!

A testament to Zach Woods' acting ability…

No matter how hard I tried, I never was able to get my girls into it. :(

This is a great example. I like Logan's Run, but it just reeks of 70's. Star Wars has a timelessness to it.

Friends of mine still have (and use!) the Burger King glasses. The BK was directly across from my town's 1-2-3 Cinema where I saw them all too…

I think I can say without hyperbole that waiting for ROTJ to come out was probably the chief thing that occupied the mind of 6 - 8 year old me.

Short answer, "yes" with an "if." Long answer, "no" with a "but."

My favorite display of Kimmy's strength so far was when she removed the manhole cover in "Kimmy Goes On A Playdate!", and Jacqueline says "She should not be able to do that…"

I clearly remember seeing the first one in the theater, but it couldn't have been the first release, as I was only 2 at the time. It must have been a re-release in anticipation of Empire, and the fever really took hold after seeing that. Those years waiting for Return of the Jedi were pure torture.

When I was in middle school, the principal was a woman of ample proportions who had a close-enough-to-purple maroon business suit that she wore frequently. It wasn't a big leap for the kids to come up with that for a nickname.

'So you want a realistic down-to-earth show that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots?'

Leslie Mann on the other hand…

Now I'm curious who the Garcia is who is presumably(?) the father of the first 3 kids. Jeff Garcia?!? He was the QB for the 49ers at around the time Laurie would have been breaking into the biz in the Valley…
