Prachi, my dahling, lemme tell you. Hibernation is the best. Last night’s 10mg Ambien (that I took after several days of miserably unrestful sleep) was just the restorative I needed.

JIM ACOSTA did not put his hands on HOPE HICKS LITHO #5* she grabbed him - at the direct instruction of Trump.

Diary writing while still wearing a single opera glove seems on brand for her. It's all about style and devoid of content. (See: blank page)

In California, I know for some judicial positions, the governor appoints the judge but at the end of their term, we vote on whether they stay in office or not. That seems like a reasonable compromise, though it requires people to be more informed about the judges in question.

Right?!

My only thing really (because you’re right they’re political already) is that I don’t like the idea of judges campaigning against each other. You see on lower levels that people don’t know what they are looking for in a judge, and with criminal judges they disproportionately elect judges that are “tough on crime”

Term limits — although long terms, I would think 20-24 years at a minimum— but also and more importantly:  confirmation by two-thirds of the Senate.

Why should I be “civil” to people who literally think I am less of a man because of the color of my skin?  White supremacy will scream about civility while calling us niggers and we're supposed to be nice when we tell them theyre assholes? Yeah.......no.

Yes, the current batch have been nakedly political.... But that is still very different than running a campaign for a seat and requiring those seeking a seat to be bought out by donors. Campaign finance laws would have to be completely re-written before we have judges being sold to the highest bidders.

I just looked up the average life expectancy in 1783 and it was 36 years. LOL...Anyway, what would be an ideal term limit? Or an ideal age limit? I don’t have the answer to this one.

I hate that our fucking future relies of a handful of octogenarians getting out of the shower safely

But to be uncomfortable about a black candidate because they’re black means you feel a white candidate would be better which means that you think white people are better than Black people which does fit the definition of racism. If you feel a person would be better for something because of their race than you think

Bernie, they are uncomfortable because they don’t see Black Americans as equals. Because they’re racist. These midterms seemed to prove that racism works for many on the right. Because they’re racist.

Are the WHPC ever going to finally say “enough” and all stand up together to what is going on.

And, as always, there’s a tweet:

The Great White House Reporter Purge

He just looked a man in the face and said “you are the enemy of the people" on national television.

“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration.”

Nancy Pelosi said some more bullshit about “bipartisanship” and “common ground” today.

It bugs me that people keep saying that Sessions was fired. He resigned, although he was asked to. This is a big difference because resigning means that Trump can appoint someone, which he did, without Senate confirmation. If he fired him that would not be the case. It’s a relatively minor detail but when reporting
