I tend to give them a deduction for it, but still give them consideration. EDC is better than Gooch-Fant, but it’s close enough that I’m giving her the win.

Sad he couldn’t carry the streak to facing Chris Davis. Stoppable force vs. movable object might have just made the universe implode.

The only way Magic doesn’t regret this decision is if he doesn’t regret this decision.

Seems like premature speculation to me.

Either Magic will regret this decision, or he will be happy he made it.

And a better talk show host than a safe sex haver.

Reading between the lines, he may have resigned because he’s also a terrible executive. But a better executive than a coach. And a better coach than a talk show host.

The Red Sox invited Curt Schilling to their opening day ceremonies. They deserve this.

You wrote a whole long nice article to start of with a sentence about the New York Islanders who:

-Bettman said at the time Vegas put in their expansion bid that he was “disappointed” that nobody else put in a bid at the same time; this was largely seen as a shot at both Quebecor and the Seattle group who eventually got a team last year. At the time it was assumed that Quebecor bailed once oil prices started

I’m sure every American living abroad – often for decades, or even people who just happened to be delivered in the US but never lived there – would be pissing themselves laughing at this moronic gibberish, if they weren’t too busy trying to complete their 1040s.

That’s nice but also completely unrelated to Rubio’s actual disingenuous stance here, which as with every Cuba-related issue for him is “make life as difficult as possible for actual Cubans so ‘pressure’ will cause the collapse of communism, which will surely be any day now”.

The Trump administration’s arguments against the deal were, characteristically, a lot harder to parse

You forgot to mention he’s been on the Pirates his whole career.

Let alone the fact that I-5 runs from Mexico to Canada and is the main highway for the entire US west coast...

Just drove through Denver on I-70 on the way back from a ski trip, and I’ve got to roll my eyes at that one. Now, I don’t agree that Denver needs to widen it. It gets congested with Denver residents flocking to the mountains to ski on winter weekends (but more lanes isn’t going to fix that), but if you eliminate that

They aren’t the same, so they both could be.

this seems a bit out of context

They got away with it because the NBA and the NCAA allow so many double dribbles and walks during games that we’ve all become numb to it. I’m sure there were at least 5-6 missed walks and double dribbles in that game but the refs will allow you to get away with it if you continue playing and pretend it didn’t happen.
