Nah, he knows where Iona is because a decade or so ago he destroyed downtown New Rochelle with one of his hideous buildings.

I’d mentioned to a few people that a good “gotcha” question for a reporter to ask 45* that he wouldn’t recognize as such would be something like “would you prefer being king than president?” I didn’t know exactly how he’d respond but I was certain it wouldn’t be a hard “no” like literally any other elected US official…
Ok. But how DO you pronounce it?
and after reading this I still don’t know how to pronounce it! Seriously, I’ve seen the word in print hundreds of times but never heard it spoken.
Yet Yawkey is somehow in the Hall of Fame. Baseball’s answer to George Preston Marshall.
He definitely did not.
What about the missing apostrophe in “Peoples?” He may have had help but I think he typed it out himself.
I think they might save a few bucks in luxury taxes?
But Drew, Lombardi likes “Mad Men” and the 76ers. Shouldn’t that count for something?
I think he burns a challenge on the spot between the to and the punt.
I said this in another thread but this is a better place for it. I was rooting for the Eagles, but I strongly suspect that neither of those plays would’ve been called TDs in the regular season. But the NFL knows how much crap they’d get by enforcing their stupid catch rules with the entire country watching and decided…
They STILL whine about some stupid roughing-the-passer penalty in a playoff game against the Raiders more than 40 years ago.
I hate the Pats, but I’m pretty sure neither of those plays would’ve been called TDs during the regular season. Remember the Lance Moore 2-point conversion for the Saints against the Colts? I think for the NFL, not having a controversy over a dumb rule trumps enforcing said dumb rule on the biggest stage.
beat me to it!
Cris had to be sarcastic there, no?
That’s the photo an enemy should tweet to make fun of him.
I have mixed feelings on the topic overall, but the two times I saw the USC long snapper, the entire opposing team completely stepped back and let the play proceed. It went way beyond simply not going after blind guy.
They still love to throw around the word “constitution” but clearly most of them have never read it.
But it’s not as if the segment made these guys look good. Quite the opposite. I don’t think shining a light on these awful people is necessarily a bad thing.
Also, Ted Stevens in Anchorage.
