Touching your subordinate’s genitals at work isn’t grounds for firing? Like where do you work where you wouldn’t be fired immediately for that even if it were consensual? I’ve worked every shit job you can think of and some pretty kushy ones and not a single one would have fired me without blinking an eye had I done

eh...that sort of sounds kind of pervy to me and not in a good/legal way.

Like I keep coming back and staring at your comment bc my graduating class was close to 700 students. Like I can’t fathom a school that only has 700 students....maybe my elementary school did way back in the 80s? That must be so claustrophobic to be in such a small town in either case.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams held a news conference Monday morning, calling the clash an ‘horrific incident.’

Why wasn’t she given the option of bail? Like, I doubt that she could have met bail given her status, but I’d really like to see the prosecution’s argument as to why she should be denied bail, and why the judge agreed.

It’s called trying to make sure the poor and the not so fair of skin know their place. I am so fucking over this world rn.

Even if she was doing that, I think it’s likely that they could have come to a mutually agreeable solution outside of calling the cops. They probably would have if she had been white.

our cliques were ginormous too, or maybe i just didn’t know. i was the sort that got called into the office after columbine happened. Not because I was violent but because I liked dark clothes and didn’t participate in shit (prbly bc the principle had slut shamed me out of reporting my rape when i was a freshmen but

Jesus, what a bunch of assholes. This kid isn’t going to be able to keep going to school there. I’d put money in it.

Idk, maybe it's a really small school, but a hundred students would have been like, a seventh of my graduating class. So in my mind thats a really small group of students

Also, I don’t think Obama owned a tower in Manhattan that had to be protected by the Secret Service.

Thank you for not eulogizing this man as though he weren’t absolutely atrocious. He did a lot of horrible shit. I do firmly believe that a lot of what we are dealing with in terms of the South/Central American refugee crisis is directly attributable to his policies/decisions while in his various positions of power.

Or it could be the case that she had to try to keep herself light to keep from looking ethnic and “pass” as white. Since she’s been on stage/tv since she was a child, it seems kind of likely to me. That's a pretty common thing, sadly.

Right? I’m never attracted to people in suits, I find LEOs incredibly ugh and I’d totally hold this man afterwards. And he’s conservative, I think. And a former Marine. Literally everything about this man would repel me, but I’m in love with how he’s conducting this. He seems like he’s incredibly smart, and more

He meant the air and water where white people live. None of the other places matter to him or hit shitty party.

I’m sort of reminded of my sociology class in college here: it behooves those in power to keep us fighting over specifics so they can take more and more. Because if we are fighting each other, we aren’t fighting them. I believe it’s Marxist Conflict Theory.

That being said, Farrakhan is abysmal and I don’t know how a

i’d hold his hand while he was trying to. that’s how much i love this man.

You know, I haven't had my coffee yet, so I sat here and stared at your response trying to figure out which is worse and I still can't come up with an answer

Systemic oppression of women and LGBTQ people while also protecting scores of sexual predators who use their possession to prey on children will get you a bad rap.

It’s early, so maybe I missed something, but why are we assuming he’s anti-Catholic? My first thought was that he might have been a Catholic extremist who saw himself as correcting these women like God’s little foot soldier.
