I’m really surprised I haven’t seen more articles on how Yukio and Negasonic Teenage Warhead are the first overt LGBT superheroes in a major superhero movie! They may have had small roles, but that’s a big deal!

Well, given how Psylocke sucks in the movie-verse, that’s fine with me.

There need to be theater laws that ban people like this. Those are bad parents right there and not only that they don’t agree with the movie? They should have left and not bothered anybody by then. There are some theaters that will absolutely kick people out for being like this. Alamo Drafthouse is one of them.

Wow, I totally missed both Damon and Alan Tudyk in that scene. Were they heavily done up or something? Plus, between this and Thor: Ragnarok you have to give props to Damon’s cameo game.  

I didn’t get a great look at the credits, did they just use his likeness or was it an honest to god cameo. Plus I thought the Vanisher gag was hilarious, especially the part where the backpack just goes flying out of the back of the helicopter. Something about that hit my funny bone.

Exactly! Yes, it hurts, but that’s what makes it powerful. I think too many were just expecting a warm blanket of fan service.

If you want to argue about it, the original movie already got betrayed and murdered by the Empire Strikes Back. They deliberately wanted a different, darker tone after the sunshine and happiness of ANH. And lets not even get into how the prequels retconned the shit out of the OT.
