what is the benefit of IPS, if the monitor is already 4k? still a little unclear...

Same here. If they do happen to ask for ID, and they haven’t yet, I would probably say I left it in the car or something like that - I think as long as you are polite, nice, it shouldn’t be a problem.
So far I have never been asked for ID at Best Buy - so far. It has been pretty much a straight return, no questions asked.
This happened to me when I was looking for a good bluetooth speaker. I think it was 3 returns before I found one that I liked, but with the last return, they said I was “flagged” for excessive returns, which apparently put me on some list (this was probably the list I assume) and I could be denied the next time I…
I’ve had the same problem - or they just don’t have them in stock or available to demo anywhere within 25-30 miles of me. I kind of figure I’d lose a bit of sound quality once it is turned on. I do love the P7's - the sound is amazing, and my only gripe about them is the environmental sounds that happen to leak…

This. I consider myself a techie too, and I still have a hell of a time setting this damn thing (even waking up with the light or alarm , you still fumble around in the morning, or at least I do). The buttons are barely legible or easy to figure out. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve turned it off for the day (or…

Thanks for the info :) I love the P7's for their sound quality - if I have any grievance or complaint about them is that they do let outside sounds in general. I actually love the feel of the P7's unless it’s more than 3 hours, and then like you mentioned, the heft, or weight around the ears can be cumbersome. I’d…

Besides the P7's, I bought the Bose QC35's for just that reason - the P7's are my work/home everyday headphones, but for noisy environments (walking around in public, airports, airplanes, etc), I tend to defer to the QC35's. This is mostly due to that I found that environmental sounds tended to seep in while I had the…

Does anyone have an idea of how these compare to the Bowers & Wilkins P7 wireless? I have the P7's and love them, but the one thing I find lacking is the noise cancellation feature. For that matter, has anyone tried the new B&W PX and how does it compare?

I’m in the same situation - I actually reached out to them and this is what I got back from customer service there in an email (essentially you will lose whatever current plan you have to sign up for this one - doesn’t seem to make sense to quit unless you are at the end; I have at least 6 months left, so wouldn’t…

A question for Tile users (I have the Tile Slim and Tile Style Pro). I just purchased a couple - I know it can use crowd-sourcing (people with other Tiles) to help locate your item. In my case, I wanted to test it with my Tile Slim so I placed it in my car (center console). When I asked it to find (I was inside my…

Doesn’t Google Assistant already do most of this already (if you have an Android phone)? I guess this would make sense if you are on an alternative mobile OS? I guess this would make sense if you are looking to control activities at home if you have an Echo, etc. (though I think with the new updated Alexa app, you can…

This! Like you I had back surgery. I had a pretty good office chair before (or at least it’s price point made it seem like it was a good chair..lol). I switched to the Mirra 2 after my back surgery and it has done wonders. It has just the right amount of give but yet still firm. My previous chair I would have to get…
this may be a question for BofA, but with these temp CC numbers, does it still allow rewards, if you have a BofA rewards card?
Between the Google Calendar idea (i find this works perfect with most of these trial subscriptions I have) and taking screenshots of all pertinent info from the welcome, or introductory email, I copy and paste any contact info, etc. that i will need to cancel when the trail ends - helps not having to hunt down that…
exact same thing happened to me! If it wasn’t the fact that I usually check my charges for the week every Saturday morning, I would not have seen it. Even then, I had to dig further on Amazon’s site to determine it was a Kindle subscription I wasn’t aware i had signed up for (I’ll give Amazon the benefit of doubt, and…
It’s pretty normal for both parties to pay for their own things on a first date, especially a semi-blind one from the internet.
Samsung does this with their mid to upper-end TV’s. Both my TV’s have a One Connect box that do this. They upgrade not just the system files, but do update the apps as well. Whereas needing to replace the TV every few years (as long as you’re happy with the display), you will need to only spend a fraction of the cost…
Browns fan here, so you know I have to go waaaaaay back to pull up any playoff drama here. The Drive, The Fumble have stayed with me over the years, and still watching the highlights from those games still irks me. I hardly remember the last run to the AFC Championship in 1989 when they were blown out by the Broncos.
