SSR had 400 hp and a retractable hardtop, so how is this even a question?
I just saw an SSR on the street last Wednesday while driving around Tampa. I was with a guy who loves cars, but has spent very little time in the US, so he had never heard of it and was completely puzzled by it. “This was expensive? But....its

Enjoy my extremely low “I haven’t had my coffee yet and have no sense of scale” effort Photoshop.

Prowler, because hot rod. Even though it’s pretty far fromhot”. I’d totally swap a 6.1 liter Hemi into it though.

I would have loved for them to go full “Jet Age” on the interior.

Yeach that motor was a bad idea. Iirc the DOHC 4.6 fit which makes you wonder why they bothered. I guess ford wanted something to show for all the money they plowed into JLR.

Thank you.  Now I understand the objections below to group qualifying as well.

It was qualifying. Just running laps. Racing against the clock, not each other.

My point was more that people are assaulting each other over childish bullshit all the time, every day. We just happen to see when a sports man assaults somebody at work, because when he’s at work, people are usually watching him

You ever have someone try to wreck you at 140mph? These guys behaved better than some people who drive on the interstate at 60mph.

I’m sorry that you think this behaviour is limited to sports. If everyone in America worked under the same public scrutiny as sports people do, I don’t think you’d be singling them out or indeed even commenting on this article

I'll take it.

The thought of southerners ice skating amuses me

NASCAR ought to institute a rule where any on-track disagreements should be settled by punching Joey Logano in the face - regardless of if he was involved in the original disagreement or not.

1v1 me in Risk, you’ll have all the bases in no time

I’m still waiting for the perfect moment for “all your base".

I really love the rare moments when the venn diagram of “tired, obvious joke” and “hilarious” breifly reforms into a single circle. You probably just laid down the only funny Mustang crowd joke anyone’s going to make this year

Honestly, the tomato duck is pretty impressive.

Yeah. Youd have to settle for a Mustang.

Congrats on the COTD. This COTD didn’t actually do that much for me.

Who could get a car out of the Geneva Auto Show? Security or not, last time I was there (2015), there was zero crowd control - the people can barely move, much less the cars.
