It was a fun strategy game, especially in its creation of choke points and the way that space travel took time.

I get it in concept because of the whole “Ford Performance” umbrella, but yeah, its weird.
It could be seen as a positive that your car is so in-demand that people are paying higher prices for it.
I think we actually lost a GT350 allocation for this year because our manager bought a few 17s from other dealers and marked them up 20k. They were here for a almost a year before we sold them at a loss. Ford was Big Mad.
Dealers only charge more than MSRP as long as buyers are willing to pay it. It’s fun to blame the dealers for being greedy, but I’d argue that anyone willing to pay a $10K upcharge on a Hyundai deserves to get taken for a ride.
I can’t imagine any car was “killed” by dealers. Dealers pay more in interest the longer the car sits there, so if the demand wasn’t there to justify the higher price, there’s no way they’d keep it above sticker.
For the most part, they do. There are always going to be a few exceptions to the pricing of cars. But as explained above, Supply/Demand w/ an open market, usually figures these things out on their own.
Why did this immediately go through my mind.....? LOL
But then eveyone would be confused that Serfio is still alive, because his Mergio alt wasb’t fooling anybody.
No shit it didn’t work, the idiot wore the wrong glasses
I’m a knowledge worker, as is my wife. I have two masters degrees and am well paid with good benefits.
This kind of thinking is what makes me hate the products of higher education. People will go to college, probably go for a degree that has no real world value, make very little, and then bitch about the guys who went out there and did something that has tangible results and they can take pride in. Like seriously, when…
And your point is?
It depends on the degree. STEM pays pretty good. Liberal Arts, often end up writing peoples’ names on a plastic cup.
While I don’t fully agree with drh3b, I don’t agree fully with you either. I know some people with master’s degrees that are worth about as much as my 2 ply bulk toilet paper from Costco. I mean that’s fantastic that you got a Master’s Degree in Psychopathology of the West African Endangered Field Mouse, I would like…
I’ve worked both sides of the isle. And honestly, manufacturing and skilled labor jobs make as much as they are owed. The only risk I’m taking sitting at a desk doing data entry is maybe getting carpal tunnel.
To counter that:
That says more about how shit someone’s masters degree is than how evil a union is.
COTD
Fuck you.
