Most of what you just said would apply to the car even if it had the more interesting engines... Literally the only thing that wouldn’t was the yawn-inducing LeMans-required engine, which honestly: Who cares?

I would expect it’ll be a lot less than either of these, if the FXS is anything to go by. I can’t imagine they’re going to drop the 14.4 battery in it, so we’re likely looking at their 7.2, which will bring the price down appreciably.

I guess? They’re a bit before my era, so I just call them wheels in the heels.

Especially when tax filings instantly out both companies as the same ownership.

Yeah, the gas tends not to be a huge factor (Even where I live, where gas is stupidly expensive, motorbikes are efficient enough in most cases for it to not matter). Maintenance on the other hand... Hoo boy.

Funny, also having ridden both I thought the LiveWire was out and out worse than the SR/F, even ignoring the price differential.

At least it’s within the wheelhouse now. Harley is a more expensive brand, I didn’t think they were ever going to undercut Zero. But while there was no comparison when it was almost $10K more expensive, now that they’re within spitting distance of eachother, people might spring for the HD due to brand recognition.

Nice to see Harley actually making this thing competitive. At $38K Canadian, this was so stupidly overvalued that no one even looked at picking them up. Now that they’re price-competitive with the Zero SR/F and SR/S, it should be interesting. Zero has the handling and better statistics, Harley has the marketing and

Sorry for the delayed response. The newest Kinja update makes it almost impossible to answer someone in the greys unless they’re in the first four replies.

Ugh, what a waste then... My boss at Ford had the previous generation (The one that came out in the early ‘00s) and the new generation. And I just adamantly couldn’t figure out why the new one cost so much more than the previous generation, while simultaneously being so much more boring.

Eh, I liked the Thunderbird. And besides, whether you loved or hated it - it sure as hell looked unique.

We had to kill the Fiesta to make it in to an SUV, but the Fiesta was our rally car... Guess we’ll just raise a car to make an SUV, then lower the SUV to make a car...

To be fair, those shoes with wheels in the heels are better than the ecoSport.

=P

Indeed, it was pretty amazing. It’s funny, despite us now having better metallurgy, better fabrication, newer materials and everything else, I feel like in general more of those ponycars have gotten less attractive with updates, rather than more attractive. The Mustang is a notable exception, and the Challenger hasn’t

And why this engine (Or the Voodoo) wasn’t put in to the last Ford GT, I’ll never understand. Would’ve been a way cooler car had they done so.

That is precisely what I’m wondering, yes.

I don’t know what the laws are like where you live, but that’s a big limitation to the market where I live. To get a good cheap city scooter here, it will need to be limited to 70KM/H and under.

Not a yank, but same situation: In my country, there’s no such thing as a Forza, Big Ruckus or Silverwing any more. Small scooters still sell, so oodles of manufacturers still cater to that. But the big scooter market is tiny.

They definitely have over here, yeah.
