People say this kind of stuff all the time, and yet EA, of all companies, has let fan-made games use their stuff before, completely without issue, so I’m not sure how much I believe that excuse.

The Milwaukee 8 is listed as 86HP in the 114ci variant (The one the Fat Boy has), while the M109R is listed as only 127HP, you’re right (Getting my wires crossed there).

Yep, that absolutely would’ve been the smarter way to do things.

I bought a used Sonic that had an orange somewhere inside of it, which evaded being located for months on months on months. Went from nice, to less nice, to awful.

Yep, I’ve heard plenty of folks had great luck with Ozone machines, we just definitely weren’t one of them. Doing it the other way (Steam, Alcohol Wipes and Fabreze) was infinitely more labour intensive, but it also meant you only had to do that once to get the scents out, permanently.

*Looks at the bodykit*

We never had much luck with Ozone machines either, when I was in car sales. For us, the better option was steam cleaning/alcohol wipes, followed by Fabreze.

We used to use these when I was in sales. Never found them particularly effective, myself, especially when dealing with smoked-in vehicles. At best, they’d simply hide the scent for 24 hours or so, and then it would come back with a vengeance.

I’m not a yank in any way, and I was also taught that there’s four oceans. If you were instructed different, good for you I guess? Here’s a gold star for your incredible intellect.

Make no mistake, I loved the cars we sold, but it was more the issue of “you want me to represent you fully, but have so little faith in me you’ll make no investment in me to do so.”

You cannot take X-Plan and any of the good incentives (IE, big cash rebates). You can get X-Plan and good rates, or X-Plan and moderate cash kick backs, but you’ll never be able to get the thousand-plus rebates in addition to X-Plan.

Right? And that’s the annoying thing - both bikes I’ve bought, I specifically bought in the offseason.

Yeah, that would’ve been awesome. We’ve actually got a bunch of boutique brands here, all we need is for one of them to get a boost from the government in to the big leagues.

It’s Canada, we’re way too polite to take advantage like that.

My logic is always this: If I’m such a good rider that I’ve never needed ABS, the presence of ABS on the bike won’t actually affect me anyways; If I’m not as talented as I pretend, ABS will help save me from my screwup.

It hurts to say, but sadly you’re right.

Yep. When I can get a 150 horsepower M109R for almost half the price of an 86 horsepower Fat Boy, the valuation on the latter looks pretty stupid.

And the second one isn’t a production bike. Of the two examples provided, neither is a good example.

Oh, for sure, there’s always a few luddite hipsters who hate anything additional on their bike, and a couple guys who dislike stuff because they don’t understand how it functions, but they’re few and far between in both cases. For the most part, most people look favourably on fuel injection, electric start, liquid

A-Plan is only for people who directly work for Ford, being a dealer only afforded me X-Plan pricing, which also meant I had to give up any incentives on at the time.
