It is exactly what it is, and I feel like Vancouver has stopped even trying to pretend it’s for anything other than ticket revenue.

I just can’t see this product working on my limo, so for that reason, I’m out.
Damn it, none of these models have any meat on their bones.
If EA wanted to print money, they should do Need for Speed: Thief. Make it almost like Grand Theft Auto, but no guns/violence. You can steal and modify any car you want, but stealing a car requires either breaking in to a dealership, or sneaking in to a garage, or quickly working through a parking lot. Once you’ve…
Yep. I have zero issue with aftermarket LEDs, only with the people who don’t read the fact that they’re god damned directional. Considering it’s a 50/50 chance which way they get installed, I find it weird that more than half of them seem to be ninety-degrees out.
My truck(s) used to be for construction (And the latest one has now been relegated to offroad-only duty since then), so I guess I’ll chime in: I keep mine because it’s fun, and when I want to go camping somewhere remote, it’s nice to have a vehicle that can take everything I want to take with me, and still be able to…
Is a sports car appropriate? A sedan with a single driver? How about any commuter car when a motorbike would do the same job?
Most people have a self-preservation instinct. If the road was only safe at 45MPH, you wouldn’t see 65MPH driving for the 85th percentile.
Yep, there’s a section of road near me where the speed limit changes from 50KMH, to 60KMH, to 80KMH, back down to 60KMH, then down to 30KMH, all each within about 100 metres of one another, and there is always an officer waiting at the midpoint or at the final transition. If you don’t speed up to 80KMH, you can get…
Yep. 120KMH on my motorbike and the coffin dance song starts playing in my head. Comparatively, 200KMH on my Fiero GT still doesn’t feel especially quick. Vehicle choice makes a big difference.
The problem with such a setup is the difference in speed. That’s the problem with basically any speed differential setup. It doesn’t matter if you’re a brilliant driver who can absolutely drive at 100MPH without issue. If one of the morons with a 50MPH max limit pulls in front of you (Which becomes even more probable a…
I live in BC, so this is a super loaded question. What should the speed limit be? Exactly where it is in some places, substantially faster in other places, and maybe even a little slower in a handful of places. Who knows, certainly not ICBC.
Celsius. We don’t use Fahrenheit in Canada.
Dodge doesn’t have a single car influenced by the 40s and 50s. The most “old school” design they’ve got is the Challenger, which is based on a car that debuted in 1970.
They’ve since pulled it from the article (Which should’ve been done before this even got published). It was a stupid rant from an anonymous friend that added literally nothing, and essentially boiled down to being a dick for nothing.
Basically just going to quote the above response: Someone comes in and starts slandering your character for no particular reason, of course you’re going to shoot back.
He got attacked out of nowhere, how are you expecting him to respond? Lay over and play dead?
Both. A homeless lady legally claimed ownership of a parking lot years ago, because no one kicked her off after long enough, so it just ended up becoming her property. I guess if you tarped all of Canada, and none of us called you out on it (And let’s be honest, no self-respecting Canadian would say anything other…
The thing is, the rest of the article was pretty lighthearted and funny. It was just the pointless anecdote from an anonymous friend that took it from playful ribbing to mean-spirited. I mean... Why even include that? The article is so much worse for having that.
Oh my god.
