...That would be the easiest thing on the planet to game. It would run completely contrary to the purpose of Formula 1. The rules are what drive teams to make interesting solutions. If you let them do whatever, they’re all just going to go for the easiest solution.

On behalf of Canada, I apologize.

Agreed, really sad to see them go.

That’s depressing. The aesthetic holds up beautifully, should they ever deign to produce it.

If the numbers are anything to go on, this should be a complete slaughter in favour of the Indy Car. And Dumas might have more experience, but that likely won’t matter with that much of a performance delta.

What is that yellow car, and why isn’t it for sale yet?

You’re going to love the fact we have a group of bikes called “Supermotards”. =P

*Looks at my own country*

Rear Enders aren’t actually a common means of dying for motorcyclists. Half the time it’s alcohol induced crashes, followed by cars not giving right of way. Rear Enders were so much of a distant third, they don’t even get numbers.

Makes perfect sense to me. Cars barely notice when I’m somewhere they’re expecting me to be (IE, in a lane). The chances of them seeing me while being somewhere unexpected only go down from there.

And yet, bikes using quickshifters (Which rev match by nature) still often use slipper clutches, because most of us know a bike will still brake hard from the engine braking itself. Rev matching just gets rid of the initial spike. It does nothing to get rid of the braking effect itself.

Not a bad design at all. I’d rock one if the price was right.

For me, this was one of the Halo Cars from Sega GT. It, and the Jiotto Caspita.

Rev Matching doesn’t stop a rear tire from massively braking when engine braking. Nor does it help when someone goes to “clutch in” and hit the gas at the same time.

Obviously I’m not a mechanical engineer, so take my assumption with a heaping pile of salt, but I don’t think that the 5" difference in height would suddenly render most safety systems useless. If it did, males would still be dying all over the place, because the 10th and 90th percentile measurements are also about 5"

Just take the bumper off. Most cars look awesome without a rear bumper.

Didn’t realize until you pointed it out, cannot unsee now. Hopefully they have a “Saints Purple” and a “Stag White” colour scheme.

Even though they’re just renderings, they’re good looking ones. As far as ostentatious SUVs go, I like it.

Thank you for finding this. That’s not a bad price for a track car, honestly.

It’s funny, I wrote the same thing!
