IIRC Thanos doesn’t have all the Infinity Stones at the end, because the good guys still have one left.

Seriously? I can’t understand why anyone would get worked up about this kind of thing.

Wow two posts both calling the other person a child, you must have some deep thoughts that you failed miserably to share. Maybe you should git gud at writing, nub.

The sequels have many problems. The killing of Han (or Luke and Leia for that matter) aren’t among their problems.

Well. That's some fun internalized misogyny.

Lucas quit the business after she and George divorced.

*looks at the clock counting down the years until we can discuss the sequel trilogy without weapons in hand*

*sighs and gets out the long stick to hit the reset button*

See, the funny thing is I’m not against a game that wants to include infinite ammo. My larger point is people seem to understand the concept of using up a weapon and then discarding it when it comes to guns in an FPS but it seems to break a lot of folks’ brains when BOTW asks players to essentially treat swords in the

You joke but, uh...

The game pauses when you’re switching weapons. You can actually switch mid combo and immediately swing the weapon you just switched to.

Botw weapons do have advantages and disadvantages. Fire and ice do bonus damage to their opposites, electric weapons stun enemies in water (and are used in puzzle solving), spears have long range, 2 handed swords do AOE etc etc.

It’s been awhile since I played it (I had it on Wii U if that tells you anything) but IIRC you could pause and equip, right?

I don’t understand this idea of getting into a combat flow with BotW. It isn’t a character action game about chaining attacks and juggling enemies in the air for 100+ hits. While people have found ways to do flashy stuff, it wasn’t actually part of the core design.

Enough with presenting BOTWs weapon durability system as objectively bad. Subjectively? Sure. We can all say we liked or didn’t like it. I for one hated weapon durability systems....until BOTW. I love how the durability stopped me from going all Gollum with my favorite toys. They break. Move on. Have fun. Don’t get

“Why do my guns keep running out of ammo?” - People who are still hung up on BOTW weapon durability when they play FPS games, probably.

Right, I t’s almost like Link can draw his bow, use Daruk’s protections, pull a bomb out of thin air, or use Revali’s gale to jump out of the way, fly away, set up a slow time bow attack. Or maybe you could pay attention to your weapon attributes and throw the almost broken weapon at your foe for knock back and extra

You point out that when the weapon breaks it does a powerful attack as if that’s not something that happens in BOTW, man.

Well, just compare this to Breath of the Wild. What Ultra Age presents is, essentially, a health bar for all four equipped swords. In Breath of the Wild, there’s a visual indicator, your weapon flashes, and you get a text notification saying it’s about to break. And once a weapon crumbles in Breath of the Wild,

“There are only two outcomes in this situation: die or run.”

Link in BOTW is not the Hero of Time. He’s the Hero of the Wilds. And weapons breaking in the middle of a fight is wild. So it’s entirely appropriate.
