Kang does have a lot in common with Poochie. Much of the time he wasn’t on screen, the cast of ‘Loki’ seemed to be saying, “Where’s Kang?” (Or He Who Remains.) And in many stories he does have access to a time machine.
Leaving his high paying job on a Marvel project to spend more time with his high paying Marvel projects. I can marvel at that.
Or lean into it, and hire a director that knows how to set the right tone for the project like they did with Joe Johnston and the first Captain America movie.
They do if the producer happens to be famous. For example movies produced by Steven Spielberg always bring up his name, even if he isn’t actually the director, who often goes almost noticed by the public.
The funny outcome here is Pascal being cast as Doctor Doom and playing him behind a mask.
Except for Goldblum? He is fantastic as Grandmaster. His smile and little eye movements when he talks about how old he is are perfect.

I’ll applaud any time Congress gets off its collective ass to do anything that isn’t blatantly self-serving and/or detrimental to the country as a whole, so let’s just call this one a win.
It was OK, but you could see that it was chopped to bits. This is a movie that could definitely do with a director’s cut to make the plot more coherent.
Hot take: Thor: Love and Thunder was fine.
They always have the option of just not explaining why he looks different, like Don Cheadle and Mark Ruffalo.
