TIL City Folk had DLC.
TIL City Folk had DLC.
The difference is the seasonal content was in the base game before.
Honestly, I feel like the non-Midgar locations would benefit more from filler content, just so they feel less like *an inn, an item shop and maybe some houses*
It’s a matter of approach. Hades uses more direct exposition, while Isaac hides everything in the details. That, and the events of Hades advance its narrative (excepting some flashbacks), whereas Isaac works more to paint a picture of the events preceding the game.
I think after stretching Midgar to 40 hours, it’ll take at least 3 more parts for the world not to feel small; especially given their plans to do smaller episodes going forward.
I nicked it when you let your guard down for that split second, and I’d do it again.
To the pub.
Our current government's doing its best to catch up though -_-
I did realise it could read like that
Don’t forget it’s episodic, there will be more (and we won’t see the conclusion for a looong time).
Sorry to hear :/
I’m assuming you’ve played the original FF7; but if you haven’t, take a break from Remake to play it through. Trust me.
Thanks. A few more days and I should be set for a year or two, so I’m pretty lucky in that respect.
“Running the update servers” comes under “supporting the game”.
My migraines have started kicking in, so until I get new glasses (hopefully next week) it’ll be a toss-up any given day whether I can enjoy Hades and the Tony Hawk remakes, or I’ll be stuck dozing in a darkened room. Stupid janky eyes.
“$5300 worth of dental work.”
Yeah, the problem is that as downloadable content, it’s inherently transient. Once Nintendo stops supporting the game it’s dust in the wind.
OK, I was being a little hyperbolic with “service game”, but I don’t think expectations are really relevant here. I understand why they did it this way, that it’s easier on the devs to roll content out rather than deliver it all up-front, that they can respond to the community this way, fix issues and exploits etc.
BACK IN MY DAY this stuff would’ve been in the base game.
Not only the users’ internet connections, but the content will only be available as long as Nintendo supports it. In a few years it’ll be gone forever.
