Well thanks for acknowledging that “free speech” is a joke in the UK.

Except no one is saying Facebook should be forced to give someone a platform.  The objection is to the British government taking action to force Facebook to deny people a platform because the British government doesn’t like what they are saying.

“Executive producer” is not actually a very meaningful title -- it doesn’t mean you actually have any degree of day-to-day input or oversight on the film.

It’s the new, “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” If io9 just keeps repeating that TLJ was a great film long enough, eventually we’ll believe it, is the theory.

Rogue One was really good and Solo wasn’t bad, but I agree about the “Saga” films.

Midway through TLJ various characters start using the terms interchangeably.

Except he made it even worse by literally squeezing the Resistance/Rebellion down to about 30 people. Based on what we saw on screeen in TFA, there was no reason to think that the entire Republic was collapsing just because its capital planet was destroyed or that the Resistance had literally only a handful of capital

Please be playing Bronze Tiger, please, please, please!

Coppola has been toying with the idea for Megalopolis since the early ‘80s. The story is about an ambitious architect who hopes to redesign New York City into a modern utopia, only to be stifled by a conservative mayor.

Because there are a lot of people (like myself) who hated TLJ as part 2 of a trilogy and especially hated it as part 8 of a 9-part film series but are open to seeing what Johnson does when he has more creative freedom?

And maybe brainstorm with Guillermo del Toro on his At the Mountains of Madness script.

Except, of course, that (a) McNeal is an American, (b) “nappy” is used as a slang term in the US to refer to the hair texture of black people (and McNeal appears to be black or biracial), and (c) the accusations here involve teenagers, not babies or toddlers.

Icon predated Steel and is pretty clearly more intended to be a true “Black Superman” analogue given his alien origins and super power set.

Now I want a Weird Al-style parody using that line set to Billy Joel’s “She’s Always a Woman to Me.

The examples posted above are mostly from Fox and CNN. I’m pretty sure that in YouTube’s view, content that is posted by a major news outlet that could directly show the same footage to millions of viewers on its own is, by definition, not “extreme.”

it seems most of the public feels every time a cop accidentally kills a man, it was on purpose.

It’s arguably still a “teaser” because it tells you very little about the what the actual plot of the film is.

Skipping the Hulk film doesn’t help much with sleep/recovery given that it’s only the second movie in the series.

Fantastic 4 and all but one Spider-Man movie (Spider-Man: Homecoming) won’t be part of this since they aren’t part of the MCU.

Don’t apologize for his cultural illiteracy.  He should have been able to figure it out from context alone.
