Yeah, Kingsley has always been more a “I’ll take what work is available” kind of guy, which is consistent with British actors in general.

relative newcomers to the “need a paycheck” crowd: Danny Glover, Bruce Willis, Danny Trejo, and Sir Ben Kingsley

But 1981 was only 37 years ago....

Depends on the sauerkraut.

At least you still have a giant McDonald’s. They demolished the giant McDonald’s in Denver that was at Colfax and Pennsylvania about 8 years ago or so and replaced it with a boring-looking conventional-sized one.

We don’t pretend George Washington was never a founding father because he had slaves.

Kim Jung Un nukes Burbank because he can’t stand what Disney did to Chewie.

That’s what I was coming down here to say — the film might be utter trash, but it’s a really great title.

Not just because of the there were any emotional implications of Admiral Holdo (Laura Dern) sacrificing herself for the sake of her allies, but also purely because of the breathtaking visuals and utter silence that accompany her hyperspace collision with Snoke’s ship.

Two dates in Michigan and a date in Birmingham, but none for Denver?!? I say we riot.

I agree that RotS is the best of the prequels by far. TPM is dragged down by Jar Jar, Jake Lloyd, and the sheer amount of slapstick. I had very little trouble with the romantic scenes in AotC because we’re supposed to witnessing a romance between two very emotionally stunted people.

No, it’s not possible. TLJ completed all principal photography before Fisher’s death and had minimal reshoots (only like two weeks’ worth) afterwards, so there’s no way the Canto Bight sequence was inserted after the fact.

Yes, I really don’t get the widespread anti-AotC/pro-TPM revisionism that’s been going on the past few years. TPM is clearly the worse movie by any conceivable metric.

She didn’t stay with him after he slaughtered the Jedi. That was actually what directly led to her trying to leave him.
