This is the first card with an annual fee that I was willing to get. I had the regular Amex cash back card before it, but I did the math and figured out that even paying the annual fee, I would come out ahead because of that 6% on groceries. I was happy to see that they added some stuff today. It won’t benefit me

It’s really interesting to see how the Celtics just turtle when things start going south. It happened all season, but in this series, it’s pretty fascinating. As soon as the game turns against them, they just check out. Last night, in particular, they lost all their will to compete. Even on defense, they would just

“I believe in arming teachers. Absolutely. In my church, I’m armed. My pastor is a shooter, a hunter, he knows I am, people in the congregation do,” she told the Journal.

I think you should go back to your seat now, Joey.

And if they adopted Big Bird’s imaginary friend....

The Bucks don’t really need to go ballistic from three to win; they weren’t a great three-point shooting team by percentage during the season and won 60 games. They just need to not play like shit. Just have Giannis have an average Giannis game, the supporting cast shoot a reasonable percentage from the field, and

To the dad-to-be who feels guilty about bringing kids into this world: we need those kids so they can fix everything.

I was a background extra in the Robert Redford scene and because of where my starting mark was, I often found myself standing next to Redford and Downey, Jr. when I reset and they were still hanging out. I was pinching myself, realizing I was just chilling out, eavesdropping on a conversation between Redford and

The scouts’ first idea to “throw coach Pete Carroll off a bit” was to have Metcalf tell him that jet fuel can melt steel beams.

Why would you even think to make that comment about the ending?

I used to run track and cross-country. I’m 43 now and every time I try to start running again, my brain remembers what it was like while my body wants to explode within about two blocks.

My dog is nearly 18-years old and is blind and deaf (well, I believe she can hear REALLY loud noises and REALLY high pitched noises, but basically deaf). I was watching her sleep the other night and by her twitching and odd breathing, it looked like she was dreaming. It occurred to me that in her dreams, she can see

Did he say “making fuck?”

It’s 2019. Having multiple TVs is pretty standard, considering how inexpensive TV’s can be. We have four that are currently hooked up: three are regularly used and one is rarely used. I have a semi-broken 55" TV that is just sitting unplugged, waiting for me to clean out my office to find a place for it (where the

Holy shit, #2 is exactly the way my rich aunt and uncle’s family room is. Seating is arranged so people can chat and the TV is in a built-in corner shelf, making it really awkward to watch. Plus, it severely limits the size of the TV in a very large room.

It was pretty obvious from watching the game that the foul discrepancy (and you hit on this a bit) was because the Bucks were much more aggressive driving to the basket, especially because they have Giannis (who, oddly, from my amateur eye, has yet to get the superstar treatment regularly).

To Glenn Beck, the American equivalent of Notre Dame is probably Stone Mountain.

Did you push up your glasses before you typed that?

Baier: how many are willing to transition....
