EE here, man that first half of your curriculum looks almost exactly like mine. I feel you though...when I say I have an EE degree, people instantly ask me to come do Electricians work at their house. Not the same people.

Saw one at a local ski spot this winter. Love the Caddy wagon.

Not sure any 4 year old is legally allowed to be in the front seat. Hell kids need booster seats in back until they can touch the floor.

His kid might. He’s an enthusiast at 4! I’m surprised the kid hasn’t demanded a brown, diesel wagon.

So we have a boring sedan choice, an STI, and 25+ year old cars. I get the appreciation for the cool old cars, but I get the feeling this guy wants something newer, which will likely be safer, than 30 year old tech. I read this as something new that will retain its charm and character and have retro appeal in 12+

I’ll trade the extra $50/mo for not having to live in FL.

Update: I just talked to both Verizon (FiOS) and Spectrum, my area’s two high speed ISPs. I currently pay $87/mo (includes taxes & fees) for 50/50 mbps, which is bundled in with phone (the bundle actually costs less than stand alone internet). Spectrum’s standard rate is $64.99/mo plus taxes/fees, and doesn’t include

Where in the world do you live that your internet/tv rates are this low? $30/mo for internet?! $60/mo for tv/internet package?! I call bullshit.

Is there a search function to pick out the rest of the staff’s constant “cheap plastic” comments about interiors? Because I would really like that. Or maybe I’m just in the minority that not all cars need to go 0-60 in 4 seconds and have the interior of a Rolls. Are “enthusiast” and “appreciates simple useful cars”

My first car, as a college junior in 1998, was a ‘95 Pathfinder. Loved that truck, kept it for 10 years. On looks alone the older gens are way ahead of the minivan they call the Pathfinder now. And I have to assume much more capable of rugged use.

I guess I’m confused as to why you’re turning around vehicles in the backyard? Isn’t there a street to park on?

I don’t see where she says she is currently living in Detroit.

My first thought for “unique, small...weird and different” was Juke. Haven’t driven one so not sure it fits the fun criteria.

100% agree. Gambons Dumbledore worked for the later movies, as they got darker and more intense. Could Harris have pulled that off? Maybe. From the books though, I always got the sense of Dumbledore being more like Harrisversion, kind and soft spoken, with all that power just below the surface. I also dont like

Hmm...ignition switch. I have a 1969 Chevy K10 that just cut out while sitting at a stop light. Also likes to not start after turning it off, such as whilst getting gas. Anyone looking for a project truck?

I don’t what kind of lifestyle or where most of the commenters live, but there is no way we could get away with anything smaller than a crossover/small SUV with kids. Definitely not a 2 door. We have a baby on the way, and I’ve previously dealt with two kids...on top of all the other stuff that ends up in our Patriot

Man, stolen vehicles are never the same. You know this thing flew over some railroad tracks and, no visible damage aside, is beat to shit. I wonder what constant Bentley dealer repair bills are like. No, actually, I don’t even care. CRACK PIPE.

So basically you’ve just exclude 95% of people. Kids, any sort of hobbies, loans.... Hell, it’s cool that a few people out there can afford a used super car. Easily for most people? Probably not. Agree to disagree I guess. I used $50k-$100k because $50k is a reasonable salary where I live. Figure that’s more like

I’m curious what “mediocre money” is. If you’re the average adult making $50k-$100k/year, and have a mortgage, you’re not buying a used supercar. Hell you probably shouldn’t be buying anything over $50k regardless. Can you get a $50k used supercar? And then the maintenance...

    What’s wrong with stickers?
