I get that having the extra space in the back seats of a crew cab is nice (we have a quad cab with a car seat in back and it’s tight but manageable). But I’d definitely rather have the 6'4" bed. A crew cab and regular bed is just too long. It’s tight enough with the quad cab and regular bed in some places.  At least

Some of us have no interest in living in crowded cities, and regularly haul stuff. I’ve had SUVs (1995 Pathfinder and 2008 Patriot) and finally having a truck (2019 Ram 1500 Classic) has been nothing short of incredible. It also gets better mileage than my dad’s 2015 Grand Cherokee.

She’s from Huntington.  Not exactly urban.

Is anyone going to offer the obvious answer...it’s for towing.  That’s it.  some people, you know outside of cities, do things like tow trailers, motorhomes, heavy equipment, etc.

Why are you riding/jumping these old bikes like you’re on a modern enduro bike? What do you think is going to happen, other than “hey here’s some more material I can post to Jalopnik about me breaking an old “mountain” bike”?  If you like these old bikes for tooling around Brooklyn and dirt paths, great.  If you want

So basically no American vehicles.  Nice job big 3.  Maybe it’s just me, but regardless if income, I just don’t want to spend $40k on a new car.  I don’t want all the bells and whistles that come standard now.  Yes, used is an option.  But sometimes it’s nice to get a new car, know you’re not beating the hell out of

Just another reason why cities suck.

What does corn fields have to do with bad drivers? Just drove through our corn field areas yesterday...every intersection is either a 4-way stop, or, more common, a stop for one of the roads. If there is an “accident”, it’s because someone wasn’t paying attention or doing something wrong (no lights on, etc), not

I’m curious. If this happened to a white 23 year-old, what would the conversation be? Should the kid be dead? Of course not. Is the body cam thing shady? Yes. What I struggle to understand in all these instances (because let’s be honest, it happens to people of all races, even if disproportionately) is why is this

Another vote for the 1UP USA hitch rack.  I have heard there are some other quality hitch rack brands (Kuat specifically).  Easiest rack I’ve ever had to load, and nothing touches the frame (important to consider for full suspension mountain bikes that wouldn’t hang from the top top).  I’m 5'8" and before getting a

Ever take one of those boxes on/off? And then have to store it somewhere? I put our ski box on in late fall for ski season, and it stays there until spring. Why? Because I don’t want to take it on and off and get on a ladder to get it up onto the storage shelf in the garage every other day. It’s on the car so if we

I know this is an enthusiast’s site, but I’ve never had a sports car, or ever really driven anything considered sporty. I have no desire to go fast, hit the throttle, or find a windy road. I have two kids, a dog, bikes, kayaks, a long list of other sports and outdoor gear, and plenty of house projects that require

Because then you have to store it somewhere.  Also, there’s often not 10 free minutes in the day, or I don’t want to take the rack on and off every time I want to use it, or the plenty of unplanned times it comes in handy.

Is it ideal to leave stuff on a rack all the time?  No. But some people don’t have space to store it elsewhere.

WTF man?  A.  Her back is to the camera in the picture.  I’m supposed to know she’s Asain?  B.  So I have white guilt?  Ok, if you say so.  C.  No need to name call, but you do you man.  Bless your heart.

Good God.  Can’t argue with any of this.  Yeah, I’m a white dude, and I’m on board with your proposal.  Good read man.

What about using Chrome (work computer restrictions) but with DuckDuckGo for privacy?

Guess you didn’t see Cuomo wearing his mask only over his mouth?  Carry on.

Hey make sure you call out Cuomo for the same thing. I mean, fair is fair right? Or do you only go after Republicans? For the record, I didn’t vote for Trump, won’t vote for him, and am not a Republican.  But come on, show some consistency if you want me to find you credible.

I get that this is an auto blog, and performance is always going to have some part in the overall opinion of a vehicle. But having owned a Patriot for 12 years, I still to this day don’t understand the hate. It was dirt cheap and ridiculously functional. Was it going on trails with a Wrangler? Probably not. Was it
