At least the Stealth fit the shape of the car better imo. But you’re right, it’s one of those that’s like... eh... really?

Perfect description.
LOL... yup that’s it alright. Looked dumb back then and clearly still does.
I went to Dodges website to see what Hellcats actually sticker for. 64k plus change. Okay. But dear god, are they trying to challenge the 911 for having most possible available trims? There are 14 different trims available. WTAF. FYI, it’s 22 for the 911 if you count Turbo’s and GT cars.
Depends on how much you pay for said respray.
They’re way faster. It’s not even close.
Of course not. But I do know some of the reasons people sell cars on short notice like this. It’s common sense.
A crappy rotary is cheap yes. The good ones are much more expensive than the PC. And you’re right about the PC. With a microfiber cutting pad and the proper compound you can cut just as much with it. Rotary buffers are faster and typically better for professionals.
Looks wise yes, 100%. But when you drive or ride in a convertible Ferrari and hear that intake noise right behind you and the exhaust note. Well. It’s better in a convertible. :)
Correct. I’d personally rather a F355 for 10-15k more.
Usually the people who complain about Ferrari maintenance costs and the like are those who can’t afford the car but really want one. They are part of the reason the world thinks Ferrari’s are unreliable and cost astronomical amounts to maintain.
You are correct.
Indeed. If he’s got records okay. But the ad doesn’t mention them so run!
Yeah they really aren’t like that anymore. Modern ones starting with the 360 that is. Source... I have 3 friends currently who own a F430, 458, and 599. The whole Ferrari maintenance and lack of reliability thing is blown way out of proportion. Yes some models do require expensive services, like this 348 or the…
The modern ones starting with the 360 have gotten much better for maintenance and reliability. F430's are great. 458's even better from that standpoint.
They got better with the 360, and then the F430 was a huge leap forward. Alot of modern Ferrari’s come with like 7 years of maintenance included (my buddy bought a new 458 in 2012 that did). They have gotten alot better, but when you are paying that much for a bespoke Italian car, they aren’t gonna be cheap to work…
The opposite is actually true. Look at asking prices on cars.com for F430's (there are more for sale than 348's so its more representative of the market). Spiders are up higher in ask than most all Berlinettas. For most other brands the opposite is true. But not Ferrari’s. Or at least the F430.
Well he’s missing any kind of service records otherwise he’d mention them. That kills any Ferrari’s value.
That may be true, but both require the nasty 10k (roughly) engine out service like every 5k miles. And that’s hard to swallow.
Correct.
