I used to work for a precious minerals mining company. The location I was at made copper rod. So there literally tons of copper around. Some of the stories the security guys told about people (not employees, usually truck drivers or contractors) stealing copper were hilarious. The local scrapyards knew to contact

No, why would I? Point is, the money I listed is what it would cost to do the things the you listed. Roughly. Like I said. Helluva an ROI.

Are the new interiors that bad? They look gorgeous but I haven’t been in one.

Now now. That’s Rolls Royce not MB.

The original post I replied to stated the cheapest S2000 he’d seen. Not the cheapest ‘07. Not the cheapest ‘06. The cheapest period. My response to that was 100% accurate. I’m sure there are model differences between the years and the newer ones are more valuable. But that wasn’t what the OP said. In fact I’ll

So a $500 detail, $200 for mats and pedal covers and say $100 for the wires. That’s $800. And that translates to $3000k on the price? Dang that’s pretty good ROI. No wonder dealers of cheap ass cars make a flat out killin.

Really dude? How bout you just go search yourself. There are literally 34 S2000's on cars.com right now for 15k or less with 100k or less miles.

Only if they didn’t disclose the transactions legally.

Oooooh well done.

Beat me to it. I just watched it too.

Die Hard is a great flick. But you sir have correctly identified the best Christmas movie.

Love it. I just watched this 2 days ago. Still holds up.

Ha... that’s a nice little trick. Coming from a wifi network architect, you should take that as a compliment lol

You haven’t looked much :) A quick search on cars.com shows a butt load with fewer miles for significantly less.

Very wrong.

Doing a helluva job Brownie.

Hugo was a mess. I was a kid in Hickory NC about an hr NW of Charlotte and the eye passed right over my house. We were without power for a week and were lucky. Trees down everywhere. And this was 250 miles from the coast.

That depends. Are you in a flood plain? Do you live close to the water? If so then yes definitely you need to be concerned and prepared. If not, then wind is your biggest worry. I’m in Orlando, but in a 3rd floor condo so the worst I have to worry about is my roof getting ripped off or a tree falling on my car

LOL

E46 was ‘99 model year, but the coupe and convertible in ‘99 were E36. BMW often does this with other models too. For example, in ‘06 the first year of the E90 sedan, you could still buy an E46 M3 or regular E46 coupe or convertible.
