A properly made calzone is almost better than a pizza but a poorly made one is a million times worse than a pizza. Total risk/reward proposition.

At what point does it change from night to morning?

TECHNICALLY, it’s space opera/fantasy, not science fiction.

Didn’t Cowherd also say that HOF stood for ‘Hat on Forward’?

idk man. I think you should go for back-to-back-to-back good Kinja

I’m shutting it down. I’ll never peak higher than this.

“I fully endorse jbud and his witticisms.”

This is why whenever I need to get some food, I just go to the supermarket and hang out by the checkout. I get to be in close proximity to people who have food, which is the same as having it, yourself.

Also, the arcade Punch-Out!! was one of my favorite games of all time. It was a revelation. There was something about that near-first person view through the green wire frame, the voice narrating the punches, and the big uppercut button that just blew me away.

“Hey, found a good place for a new settlement. There’s a beat up shack with no roof in the middle of a swamp that’s guarded by a giant crab monster. A giant crab monster wouldn’t guard something unless it was pretty awesome, right?”

Shit, Deadspin may be able to get Tomsula himself to be a regular contributor.

What else would he wear on the slippy pitch?

Fallout 4 is more realistic than I thought.

If the writers of the old EU stuff don’t get credit in the future it’s personally quite disgusting behaviour on the part of Abrams when he’s taken their material and just changed the names a bit

My take on your point is that Disney/Lucas doesn’t think the story elements of the EU is without any value, but they didn’t want their new film franchise to be 100% beholden to the exact EU storylines and thus completely predictable to nerd SW fans who will say ‘ITS NOT SPOILERS, READ THE BOOKS!’ and to avoid that

he’ll piss all over it to make it “his.”

I’m not so sure Luke forgives his father. It’s more that he refuses to believe he is irredeemably evil. The metaphor is about Luke reconciling his origin and becoming whole (one reason I believe many people tune him out for the Han and Leia B story which is more universal.)

I beg to differ, Abrams is simply moving the story line forward to the next chapter. Anything he does going forward doesn’t take anything away from the OT.

“If anything the thing that I found the most strange about The Force Awakens is the fact it takes most of its plot from different aspects of the EU they chose to disown such as Han and Leia’s son going evil, a relation of his (Rey is clearly his first cousin) standing up to him and most likely defeating him, a long

@Pete, have you tried rolling the lip of the bag over so that the zipper is actually below the opening before you start loading the leftover pieces? That sounds fucked up, but the best way I can describe it would be to think of the way a garbage can liner folds over the rim of the can.
