You're not (completely) wrong, but we're hearing about it at FSU right now because their QB is facing some very serious accusations that disappeared for almost a year as a result of football-first attitude in Tallahassee. It's a timely and specific example of college football culture gone mad.

He took timeout from being David Ortiz's personal fluffer to go after A-Rod?

If only Kuechly had leg-whipped Gronkowski, there would be no argument. That's a legal play, as we learned on the Patriots 1st TD drive in the 3rd quarter.

The argument against Jack Morris is that there are already a number of undeserving HOFers, and as long as people keep comparing HOF candidates to the worst existing HOFers, the dilution will continue.

Well, pardon the pedantic interlude, but it's not the "Hall of Great" either. Fame can exist independently of whatever criteria is used to quantify greatness.

Boo this man!

Jordan's career took place in a world without rampant social media, so people knew of Jordan only what was written about him - and the media were mostly scared of him.

"Better open the oven every 45 seconds to check on it. Oh F, my ice cream is overspun."

Yeah, I saw the Sarcastaball episode too.

Nice to see there are at least a few players in the NFL who have matured mentally since 7th grade.

Obviously these methods were incredibly successful, I mean the Saints did win 6 games that year.

Yeah there are still decent episodes from 12-13, but the overall quality of the show dipped so much between the start of season 9 and the end of season 11, it feels like "Behind the Laughter" would have been a great time to have ended the show before it plummeted too far.

Put a sock in it, Roy.

The Simpsons ended with the "Behind the Laughter" episode that concluded season 11.

There are way more people feeling like hell today, like anyone who hosted a marathon party and drank 100 screwdrivers and/or gin & tonics yesterday.

Sounds like good old Jerome from Manhattan, who called WFAN two days after the 1998 Yankees wrapped up one of the best seasons in history to angrily complain about the left field situation.

Even John Farrell knew it was the right call. He would have raised hell had they been legitmately screwed, but he argued for 20 seconds and walked off. It's cut and dry in that instance.

Its refreshing to see people who actually understand the rule ams why it was applied. Well done.

Matt - Have you considered just telling your fiance that you don't really care about what her friends put up on FB/Instagram? You can say that politely, "honey, I love you, but it's 2013 and I know how to send a friend request if I ever get curious what Jane and her kids are up to every minute of every day."

So, no more piss bags thrown by the savages at the Azteca?
